Nah this place has totally lost all sense of logic and understanding after defeat as per usual. You don’t think of a DoF the same way as a coach and sack him after a couple of bad results. At least a part of a DoF role is in making sure that we have players who will generate value for the club. He’s undoubtedly done that. Has he done a perfect job? No, but too many have lost all sense of perspective on him - primarily because they don’t understand the role.
I don’t know how you have the energy for it to be honest marra.

True, he didn't, he also didn't have a win rate anywhere near as good as Johnson or play as good a style as Johnson.
I’d be amazed if there was anything at all in their PPG during their times here. Both as drab and unsuccessful as each other. Johnson was just more dramatic, at both ends of the spectrum

The decision to sack Johnson and not have a replacement lined up at a crucial point of the season absolutely sits with KLD & Speakman. As does putting them clowns in charge yesterday.

They have supposedly implemented a way of playing throughout the club at all levels. Well based on yesterday it worked, because it was just as shit as Johnson the week before.

They need someone in today, even if it is just to get us into the playoffs, because based on the last 2 games thats not even guaranteed now
I'm not bothered if it isn't Keane, but it needs to be somebody fans can get behind and not another wet blanket. They can't just pick the hipster options and expect it to work. Nothing whatsoever in Johnsons cv suggested he would come in and get promoted. Nish.

Parkinson had a win percentage of 38 and Johnson 51.3, Wiki could be wrong mind. Johnson also won a trophy at the club.
Win percentage doesn’t matter. PPG matters. Points are the only thing that matters. LJ lost more games in his half a season here than we did in any of our other 3 league one seasons too. Points win prizes, not wins

Johnson was a fair way ahead over a longer period. He was on course to catch Ross until those last couple of games. I’d have him as the ‘best’ of what we’ve had down here - although that perhaps doesn’t say much.

This place will gan off the scale if he does
If we’re offering a contract only till end of the season I’d say he’s every right to be fucked off and leave the job alone.

However if we are offering 18 months minimum with the promise we won’t sack him unless something horribly wrong goes on (so he’d be guaranteed at least one transfer window to sort it out) then I’d say he has to take it. It’ll be a realistic route back into management.
We did better than last week with virtually the same team man ;)
We were playing the worst side in the league mind.
