All league games? I can genuinely only remember the Cisse 1-0 home to hull, 4-0 v West Brom at home. I guessed there’d be a couple more but 6 surprised me. Was he in charge for hull away? 4-1 I think it was

My mistake, 1 of the 6 was an FA cup game

Yes he was, Ferdinand said “make him manager” to the cameras as he left pitch

He might still want to Dee his tv work as well as being our gaffer
He would then be demonstrating a lack of commitment, something that I think was at the bottom of Ellis Short questioning his commuting.
Keane didn’t like Short’s requests, will he have mellowed in what KLD and his advisors might want from a new manager 🤷‍♂️
FWIW I want Keano back here, I just hope we can pull it off, but also hope that Keane has matured and now realises what he can realistically want, both contract wise and from the players at his disposal.

Only gonna be in chargre of a max 16 games, maybe less if he misses Tuesday games

this is my point, I think he will want longer

I dont think he will wanna come in on a 6 month deal which ends if we dont go up

he will, like most people, want assurances we want him longer
You could well be right and I think a longer contract will send a good message to the players that he's committed to the club and they'd better knuckle down. Nothing is beyond possibility with Keane tough and he could just as easily clear off at the end of the season if we fail.

He can still be at the training ground every day then do his punditry work at night no conflict

Question is do we? If we’re shite under him I’m not sure we do. Emotion, respect, sentiment and excitement are great but they butter no parsnips in a results business. If he gets us promoted he’ll deserve a crack. If he doesn’t I’d go Edwards/Manning good young coach direction in summer.

Wasn't the requests he didn't like, it was the way they were made.

One of the others was hull away, trying to rack my brains of the other 2 but I can’t think! Did we beat boro at home that season?

We did beat boro at home. That was early on when Keane was still here

Stoke, Fulham & Hull all at home were the others under Sbragia
