I've watched some of Rogan's shows and find them decent enough but he is nothing special. He was completely anti recreational drugs years ago but now he seems to talk about smoking marijuana and taking DMT on every episode.
I just think he is a bandwangon jumper to a certain extent with all the Covid stuff to have a contrary view.
About as funny as a burning orphanage.
It won't be there on Spotify.Still couldn’t make an album as good as After the Goldrush. Which will be there after we are all dead,
It's embedded into my soulIt won't be there on Spotify.
Absolutely nowt in reality. What's the difference?
I'm surprised by how many people on this thread claim not to have even heard of Joe Rogan tbh. He's just making Joe Rogan more famous and hence making him more money.
Silly stuff from Young imo (I listen to him a lot btw).
If you don't like Rogan don't listen to him!
A lot don’t seem to get that very point.Young obviously wanted to make a public point but you keep talking about him just quietly removing his music from Spotify.
I had never heard of him. I googled him and it appears he is someone who is famous in America.I'm surprised by how many people on this thread claim not to have even heard of Joe Rogan tbh.
He plowed millions into making his own downloading-streaming system which apparently musicians and producers etc agreed was better soundwise than the others available but it nivver took off. He’s a very very reluctant download-streaming participant. The difference is he still obviously wanted to be on Spotify. However he would only be on the platform if Spotify deplatformed Rogan.
One scenario is him making his point and leaving the platform that he doesn’t agree with. The other is him giving an ultimatum to the platform about them hosting another person he doesn’t want on there with him.
He hosts the biggest podcast in the world, previously on YouTube now on Spotify. He's had loads of people you'll have heard of on there, Bernie Sanders, Edward Snowden, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Alex Jones, Amanda Knox, Quentin Tarantino, Jamie Foxx, Tyson Fury, Elon Musk.I had never heard of him. I googled him and it appears he is someone who is famous in America.
Indeed, and I like his stance. Aren't artists also still complaining about the portion of the money they receive from streaming services? Probably not a concern for Neil Young mind.Fair point but I guess it depends how strongly you feel about something.
At least you'll get some rest from whiney BobAnyway, I think I'm gonna have a Neil Young day now.
Ah, he's a youtuber? A bit like Adam Pearson but AmericanHe hosts the biggest podcast in the world, previously on YouTube now on Spotify. He's had loads of people you'll have heard of on there, Bernie Sanders, Edward Snowden, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Alex Jones, Amanda Knox, Quentin Tarantino, Jamie Foxx, Tyson Fury, Elon Musk.
I would have thought he'd have been impossible to not have heard of tbh, well by anyone who has access to the internet, but clearly I was very wrong.
