I don’t think it’s good enough to just score a quick 30 and get out anymore. See their Powell for instance. You have to go big when you get in. Scores are getting bigger and bigger and this 220 kind of chase isn’t uncommon anymore. And you won’t chase 220 with 30s

I much prefer him further down the order. He’s a much more capable hitter down the order than Bairstow, livingstone or Banton

His record everywhere is phenomenal though. He’s a better opener than anyone else but he’s also a better 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 than anyone else we have too. Just think the balance works better with him further down. But could make a case for him to bat anywhere.

If he opens, it should be with livingstone alongside him for me
