The person who heads PIF is also the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia. Let's not pretend it's not an extension of the state.

And as for Newcastle having no control over their owners, they got a petition with hundreds of thousands of signatures; you were throwing yourself into the Tyne because it wasn't happening fast enough; you had questions asked in Parliament; you protested and whined; you demanded it and made it happen through your sheer sense of entitlement.You did it - you got what you deserved. You already said as much above. Have you forgotten what you've written?

I'm not going to get into comparing the crimes of the Chinese government to the Saudis. But Liverpool are clearly further removed from respective government decision making process than NUFC are.

Have they made anymore pretend bids for anyone? Spread over five years. You know, as you do when you're so rich. They'll be looking in Freeman's catalogue for central defenders next.
