NUFC Sportswashing 2022

Except it’s the Public INVESTMENT Fund meaning they’ll want a return and that money will either be spent on yet more sportswashing or to help maintain a regime that imprisoned a gay man who taking a topless photo of himself, imprisoned women for campaigning for women’s rights to drive (some still in prison despite it now being legal for women to drive and beheading and then publicly crucifying a 16 year old for campaigning for democracy and was found guilty of ‘terrorism charges’

Let me repeat that…

16 year old student

Campaigns for democracy

Beheaded

Publicly crucified (stuck on a cross)

So I don’t know if you’re thick as pig poo or you’re just blinded by the idea of becoming a trophy winning team, glory that will eventually become meaningless (ask Arsenal about the FA Cup wins or Man City about their Carling Cup wins) or you simply have no moral compass or you pathetically think you have no say in all of this, but be a man, admit your owners shouldn’t own a football club.

I don't think that it's the place of the a Premier League or football to stand up to foreign states. Saudi and the UK are allies.
And while you do it, you will continue to accept that women deserve to be raped and stoned for it. That is who you are now and always will be.

Funny form of sportswashing that all of this is being brought up after buying us. If anything it's drawn attention to it.

No they actively chose to invest in a country committing genocide and making dissenters disappear.
They chose you to advertise kingdom of Saudi. No other big club would accept them. They needed desperate fans. We also got better owners and we will have enough to compete in the coming years, fatty. We have humility and you are globally hated. After a few trophies you will hate them too. Got your club back? It's gone forever. Players only signing for money. Fck that

What else would they sign for?

They are coaching some Chinese kids to play football. It isn't a massive commercial exercise in itself. It isn't anything to do with the Chinese government.

The blokes authorising your signings authorise the killing of Yemeni children as well.

They probably just want us to be relegated and set our project back. Because they're fucked realistically when we emerge. They're already practically fucked now with us not part of the equation

What waffle.

Players will always prefer a move to man utd. Newcastle are a good 5 seasons to even being able to compete with them.

Signing mercenaries won't make you a top 6 side. Just look at the problems man utd have now. That's man utd the second biggest club in the world not a North east club that's never won a trophie in 60 years

The fact is you mocked us and out entitlement for aspiring to be better. Our fan base demanded and protested for more and it attracted wealthy investment. Now we're going to the very top. Not straight away but it'll come. By that point you'll be even more angry about Yemen.
The whole of football mocks your entitlement. Believe it or not, we ain’t all based in NE. In fact some of us have NEVER lived in the NE and know people throughout the U.K. who pity your level of deludedness as a fanbase. You ain’t special and you need to get over yourselves and get to grips with the fact we ain’t jealous, we ain’t bitter and we sure as hell aren’t faking outrage . YOU should be outraged. You should have been petitioning and marching and demanding the premier league didn’t let them takeover but you all have the football equivalent of a micro-penis and you just wanted to get ‘laid’ and you didn’t care who with.

Its faux outrage. Saudi have been a pretty brutal regime for a long time. Its just odd how you're all so suddenly angry about them.
Most on here had you easily pegged as a fucktard already but when you use "faux" it completely labels you a moronic pretentious fucktard.
You can try the deflection as much as possible but you are complicit in your odious regimes actions which include stoning of women, throwing gays off buildings, hacking up a journalist and bombing school children in Yemen.

Is correct. Then they've increased the value of the squad with minimum outlay, and can attract higher "market value" sponsorship deals. Not that they won't loophole that garbage anyway.

I'm a mag. No intention of keeping up the pretense

You weren’t kidding anyone you sad mag twat… you’ll eventually get banned and rinse and repeat.

Trying having a good wash and getting yourself to meet that special someone, life will become better

Nufc isn't doing anything to do with the Saudi government itself either. Nor did it have a choice that Ashley sold to them. Liverpool actively chose to invest in a country that commits genocide and makes sexually assaulted tennis players disappear. No outrage? Weird.

If the Saudis just pulled straight out the club would go Into administration and the players would become creditors

Not necessarily. I dont think they'd pull the plug entirely. I was thinking if the money dried up what would happen. They pay the bills but that's it

A huge wage bill wouldn't make them an attractive prospect as a business. Ashley struggled to sell them on a decent business model. Selling the club on the back of failure having been backed by PiF? Quite a challenge.

Hypothetical of course. I cant imagine it happening

Yes but you’re fanbase could have stood up.

You do realise what MBS is widely thought to be guilty of don’t you…

It’s the equivalent of imprisoning Roman Abramovich, torturing him and forcing him to hand over Chelsea. But hey…you got your club back!!

Who runs PIF? Who’s the chairman of PIF? How did it not have a choice, Saudi chose to buy your shit show.

Thick as a castle wall.
