Who are these nobodies?

Famous for wearing jeggings

Has anyone had a night out in Birmingham recently. I know you see lads dressed like this everywhere but in Birmingham it was practically a uniform. Literally every fucker was trussed up like that

Shes heavily involved and on the board along with her husband

Definitely sumit way off with this takeover imo

She was after them with a consortium before. Seems like this Staveleys project using PiF money, probably sold using the "it'll be good for your image" message.

If it doesn't deliver financially or in terms of image, then its anyones guess what happens. The Saudis may buy out Stavely and throw money at it, or they may have funds dry up and sell on
Who knows?

I didn't realise this Dan Burn kid was from Blyth.....

1. "Trips" - his missus desperate to get back in the North of England;
2. Wood - shares same agent as "Trips" and they end up paying 25m for someone not even on their radar just because he shares the same agent as "Trips" and had a buy out clause;
3. Dan Burn - from NE and a toon fan...say no more;
4. This Bruno fella possibly the 1st proper signed player....

Tragic.

If they stay up we should know pretty quickly what their intentions are. I just don't see the Saudi government being involved if it's potentially going to be a penny pinching operation, or even just an average PL club.
It's about investment, reputation and prestige.

The Saudi investment fund owns large percentages of Disney and Carnival cruises. Yesterday they closed out a $1.5billion deal to buy out a large 'esports' operator.
Turns out you can't be critical of Saudi ownership AND ask for payment for players instead of giving them away now.

Buying a shit club in a regional backwater still doesn't add up for that, though. Newcastle is never going to be a glamorous international tourist destination, no matter how many lights they stick on their bridge.

He’s probably the only one that gets info correct.

He can be a bit of a tit at times like.
He's the only one I've seen prepared to criticise the regime.

It's about power and international leverage too.

I vaguely remember him playing for Darlo. Went on to Fulham in a move that included sell-on fees that the club never got as it folded just before he was sold on from Fulham IIRC.

It doesn't have to be, they just have to be successful on the pitch, it's about the reputation of Saudi Arabia not getting people to travel to Newcastle.

But it's part and parcel of being an elite level club - it should be somewhere you can attract players to, and a base to schmooze business contacts doesn't hurt either. If they ever come close to elite level, it'll be as a franchise club based in London (or Neom).
