Sevilla are the best club in the world at bleeding big spenders dry. The big Brazilian plank will go when they decide they can't get a penny more blood money from Isis.
Alves, Ramos, Reyes, Navas Rakitic, the list is endless

Hope they get the fucker signed up ASAP. He sounds brilliant.

From his wiki page:

Diego Carlos was part of the club's successful campaign. In the run up to the , he conceded penalties in both of Sevilla's quarter-final and semi-final matches against and respectively and then also gave away a penalty early on in the final itself against on 21 August 2020.

Mike Dean getting his whistle and gesture practice in as we speak.

The fact their fans are pissing themselves at the money Newcastle are offering coupled with the fact he is a liability makes me want the transfer go through

Surely, by spending loads on shite they'll end up consuming all of that surplus in the the wage bill for FFP or whatever they were saying they had because of Ashley's greed?

The ar*e wipes that run the league are the ar*e wipes that run the football businesses.

The bigger businesses can do what they like and then so can the smaller ones.

He lacked pace.

If he'd had a change of gear the world was his lobster
I agree. He wasn’t the quickest but to describe him as average is incorrect.
Defensively Sevilla are outstanding and the stats show they press as well as Liverpool. Question is - is it because of him or the setup?

It’s a huge risk that I hope goes wrong to take a player from another league and hope he hits the ground running. That Kabak for Liverpool looked woeful last season when he arrived from the Bundesliga. Has Varane looked 10-10 each week? Was it Marcelino the mags signed before from La Liga? Anyone else ?
Marcelino was the example I also thought of. He was in a defensively excellent side, Real Majorca I think. On his Newcastle displays he would not have got a game for Newcastle Blue Star.

I can't remember much about hum tbh...in the depth of my mind I recall he couldn't play due to some minor hand injury

This sums up that the takeover is not what they were expecting. Staveleys excuse is that players aren't willing to agree to a relegation clause so the club walk away. Hopefully they carry on with this policy but I think it goes much deeper than that given their awful owners

Going to end up with Tom Flanagan at this rate . This is 100% not what the unwashed imagined when they became the richest club in the world:lol:

Absolutely embarrassing like. The owners haven't got a f***ing clue and are just treating it like they've loaded up a list of FIFA ratings, and are bidding on them all in order.
