Probably just making themselves look good after Coutinho went to Villa. Remember this is sportswashing. Headlines of them bidding for players like this is all part of itI’m not sure when FFP will kick in, if ever, but buying a plank from Burnley for 25m is one thing, but seriously bidding for a player like Hazard is a bit depressing, even if it was knocked back.
It’s cos melty face doesn’t know what she’s doing.Funny how the bid was put in first so it looks good. Surely most clubs just ask the agent "would he be interested? No" "ok"

I saw something that said they could spend up to 200m (including wages, although would be aggregated), this season.I’m not sure when FFP will kick in, if ever, but buying a plank from Burnley for 25m is one thing, but seriously bidding for a player like Hazard is a bit depressing, even if it was knocked back.
Hopefully if they go down the premier league will have a chance to not readmit them if by that stage it is even clearer that the Saudi state is behind them, (unless that ship has already sailed).
They’ll take that Everton. They need a whole new team if you ask me (our resident Evertonian might say differently).Going to end up with Tom Flanagan at this rate. This is 100% not what the unwashed imagined when they became the richest club in the world

You can spend 100m into the red based on your turnover, and newcastle were 100m or so in the black over the previous few seasons apparently.
Might be completely arse mind.

Fascinating to see Newcastle's and Sunderland's differing strategies; Newcastle trying to spend money and failing, Sunderland trying not to spend money and succeeding.
50 milllion + already gone down the swanny on Trippier and Wood for transfer fees and wages, with no resale valueI saw something that said they could spend up to 200m (including wages, although would be aggregated), this season.

Ship sailed. The PL didn't want them. The Eton Mess ordered them to sanction it after a threatening text about arms trade from MBS.I’m not sure when FFP will kick in, if ever, but buying a plank from Burnley for 25m is one thing, but seriously bidding for a player like Hazard is a bit depressing, even if it was knocked back.

Who you getting knocked back by today, stinky?
