Is KLD just a farce?

If there is a "NEW" investor coming onb board as previously stated by the Club it would make no difference, or shouldn't make a difference. Clarity is what people would like to see but i suspect these chancers are still having quite a say in the running of the club. To what extent, thats the real question.
As a minority shareholding, they shouldn't unless the Directors decide to allow them to.

Although we can't say this isn't the case, logically speaking I don't see why any astute businessman would buy a business and then let a Del Boy and Rodney run it for him. I suspect they'll get a payoff if/when we get promoted and they're bought out but this is based on nothing as are the majority of opinions on this board.

As I said in other posts, if theres nothing to hide then publish the share holding figures? If that is what is holding up any investment or monies to purchase players then that is only detrimental to the club, Our Club. From an outsider looking in who is from a business back ground and has had strong connections with the club, I'm concerned enough to see that something is not right with the ownership.

Under NDA isn't it? Pretty sure he came out and said recently that he'd tell everyone when he is legally allowed to do so (common place in business acquisition btw)
I know nowt about NDA's I could see the three amigos wanting to keep their share holdings secret as its what they do ..... anybody know if NDA's are indefinite? I cannot see how that could be applied to share ownership if somebody sold up later and a new invester came in he/she wouldn't be constrained by the nda and it would fall apart.I would guess its time limited or until somebody sells their shares............ its confusing and redolent of a Donalds Del boyesque like fishy transaction ...if it smells of fish its fishy in my book!

In my experience it's usually insisted by the buyer to protect against HR claims (potential redundancies mainly in the finance world) but they each have their own timeline written into contract.

KLD mentioning 'ASAP' suggests to me that it expires fairly soon or it will become public knowledge anyway (all parties agree it can be announced early) or is superceded by further buyout.

Suspect his hands are tied if he is the one who publically mentioned it.

He probably can, if there's a higher price on promotion (in which case he has a vested interest in it happening), or at the very least reduce any loss.
That's what I thought mate, but I think its being implied he will make nothing as it will upset the supporters

You mean like Ellis Short did?

by that do you just mean you want someone to spend loads of money quickly on populidt signings and if that fails do it again?
Could you shed any light on how Wigan are getting away with or maybe not, spending the money they are and offering big wages. We know their running costs won't be that of ours, but something is amiss with gates of under 10k. Ultimately they look like earning that 9m sky tv money next season by pushing the boat out finance wise. Would some speculation by ourselves not accumulate ?

Is that Ross Stewart only?

Dan Neil has been one of it not our best player and was an existing asset. Embleton the same.

Doyle, Dajaku and Hoffman are all loan players so not assets.

Happy to be corrected with any I may have missed.
I would argue that Neil and Embleton being given chances is because of the new system but i concede they were in the U23s

Pritchard surely has increased in value - Cirkin and Huggins too

there is no restriction on trasfer fee spending in this league.
wigan released loads of players last year so had loads to spend..we retained loads of players last year so didnt.

If there is an NDA, you can't just break it like that otherwise what's the point?

who told you there is a new investor coming in? you said the club said it, but have they?

I’d be curious to know from the people who accuse others of being bedwetters, what is the appropriate date to start getting a little worried about the lack of incomings?

I think everyone is worried. However, it's the thousand plus posts slagging off almost everyone of our players and the tens of thousands of posts demanding that the manager be sacked and statements that the owner is a chancer, which set the true bed wetters apart. The more sensible posters try and debate the weaknesses in the team and tactics and try to come up with, albeit, hyperthetical solutions.
