Bit gutting we never got to see the Rafa derby :(
Would have been beyond hilarious

Would have been fantastic. If Everton went ahead would they be singing rafas name? Or if the mags went ahead would they be singing rafas name? Would they want Rafa to win ? Would Eddie Howe beating a rafa side prove something? Makes your head hurt

I've not give Newcastle much of a look this season. I knew they were struggling and a few points adrift but I didn't realise they had only won one game all season. A lot of draws to keep their points tally high, but that is shocking. I was taking a general look at the table and assumed they were picking up the odd win here and there.

:D :D
Life’s full of pleasant surprises if you know where to find them and keep your wits about you. Like when someone’s about to watch a film for the first time you know is great, you’ll feel just a little bit jealous at the thrill they’re about to have that you can’t.
Youll have to try and console yourself with the knowledge that somewhere on this planet tomorrow and the day after and the day after that some lucky bastard is gonna have that same little smile you had a short while ago.
It’s a wonderful world. It truly is.

Under normal circumstances, I'd agree that it would be a mistake to admit that you'd made a mistake this early.

These are not normal circumstances.

The pressure Slavery and Co. are under is immense and they may just knee jerk it.
This. They're not particularly sensible or patient people - they spent the past week telling the world they were 'desperate to sign a striker' in time for the Watford game, leading to them being fleeced for a 25M carthorse who didn't manage a shot on target in said game.

Night & Day.....apparently 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣

“If we glance over games in which we were expected to lose against Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester and Man City (btw we did well in all of them despite what the scorelines suggest).

We were by far the better team against Brentford, unlucky not to win the game with our failure to take chances and poor at the back.

A moment of madness meant we played with 10 men against Norwich, and still dominated and nearly won the game.

We beat Burnley, almost beat Manchester United and were the better team against Watford yesterday. All with pretty much the same side that we thought were down and out under Bruce.

It’s no excuse at all for last week’s FA Cup result but we battered Cambridge in the first half and if we had someone on the pitch, aside from ASM, who could put the ball in the back of the net, then it would have been 4-0 at half-time.

That is a massive improvement”

They beat Burnley by virtue of Pope spilling the ball and Wilson shooting into an empty net. But they don't see that.

Surprised they're not challenging Man City at the top with those kind of superb performances 😆😆😆
