Mags kick off MBS says fuck you then.
Sells back to Ashley and buys Inter
The Inter thing doesn't seem to be going away mind. Saw a thing the other day saying it'll be announced this month.
The meltdoon if and when it happens and they realise they're a mere sportswashing sideshow to allow Saudi to get a foothold in the PL and the telly rights will be a thing to behold.

Suddenly have loads of mags saying didn't want them anyway and bring a bad reputation to the club if they did fuck them off.

The fans think they're in talks for Vlahovic at fiorentina for €70m yet he turned down arsenal:lol:

I'm not sold this takeover is what they think still.

I hope you’re right. But sadly I think it is a Saudi vanity project which will yield a few bought trophies here and there. Sadly.

The glimmer of hope is the Saudis have only 80% of the shares. The other 20% owned by Stavely and her husband. They aren’t mega rich - so it would seem odd for the Saudis to put in 500m when Stavely couldn’t put in 20% of that to match it. Staveleys shareholding will get a free ride whilst it increases in value, financed by Saudi money. That can’t be right can it? Which means whilst you have a couple of nobodies with a significant shareholding it’s unlikely that major, major investment will take place?

Ashley is taking staveley to court according to the papers today. Probably hasn't paid back that loan she got from him. She's clearly skint.

Its also a soveriegn wealth fund - i.e. a vehicle to eventually make money from for the country when the oil dries up. I seriously can't see them spending anywhere near the amount of sums it would take.
Inter, on the other hand, a couple of hundred million and they could well be challenging in Europe season on season.

My own personal take is and I may be miles off, if they buy Inter, they have invested the Mags money in the PL as much as/more than the Mags. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see but, a country who are used to getting their own way with most things wouldn't be appointing Eddie Howe and be anywhere near content with losing to a League One club.
