I agree, but the lad has been at the club for over 10 years and has never pushed on mate, but he's doing a canny job in the last few games and I hope he continues for the remainder of the season.

I absolutely loved that few minutes from him though. Watching him was like I’d imagine myself if I ever was talented enough to play for the lads he was so passionate it was class. Got the feeling how much everything meant to him.

I thought he was superb tonight and really growing into the left wing back role. Annoyingly got on the ref's bad side by letting his mouth go second half but the way they then targeted him for a few minutes, trying to get a reaction after was poor. Fair play to him for keeping his cool, which he did very well.

Why would he be given a red? Should of been a clear foul that the referee knew he messed up on. And the challenge after gooch was fully committed to and won the ball causing the ball to go out of play? No red card could of been given out?

Just feel happy to be able to show them up mate. I know gooch ain’t a prem player or anything amazing but the crap he gets needs showing up for what it is. 5-6 year ago we prayed for players that cared and that’s exactly what we are left with. Imagine asking djilobodji or ndong to play left wing back/right wing back centre mid/ either wing or off the striker. Gooch does is well and just gets on with it and gives 100% to the cause.

The appeal for the penalty where he went sprinting at the ref swinging his arms normally gets a yellow all day, regardless of how bad the pen decision was.
He went thundering into a tackle not long after that (not that one that got given as a free kick) you could see he was starting to lose his head there.
Then he started tussling with that shithouse number 9 they had. Both holding onto each other and swinging each other around.
He could have quite easily gotten 2 yellows in that spell

Got caught out a few times first half when they were countering us. Their biggest threat was that side. Much improved second half despite being moved three times in the game. Should have had a pen and created a good goal scoring chance. Great attitude this lad and more ability than people recognise. Johnson must think the world of him.

At 3-0 Moore decided to really go for a goal to get them back into it, an early strike, in the second half, could've shaken us.
We've also been constantly criticised, by some supporters, for sitting back on a lead.
I was pleased to see us getting stuck in especially after our trip down there.

I’m not desperate for him to fail at all.
He should have had a pen, but when he didn’t get it his reaction warranted a yellow. You see it every weekend in any league you watch.
After that he could easily have picked up another yellow when they were targeting him. Johnson pulled him over and was clearly telling him to keep his head.
I’m glad he did knuckle down after that little spell
