Gooch is awful

He didn't get a yellow for either though. Had he got one then he might also have calmed down as a result, which he done anyway when the referee spoke to him.

What he showed last night was passion, with a hint of stupidity, but then calmness when Sheff Wed were trying to get him to react and sent off and yet people are still f***ing moaning about the potential to get sent off.

You talk about him tussling with their number 9 - that was their number nine actively trying to get him to react, similar to when Bannan and Embleton got carded.

You should be congratulating him for another assist and another mammoth performance.
I thought he did well when he got riled up. Showed passion and got stuck right in. I thoroughly enjoyed his performance.

There has to be a better way to get your point across than " Gooch is awful " surely.
Your right and I was wrong over the way I posted re, Ross Stewart who I have met a few times lately and a gentleman, very funny also.
On Gooch I do hope his upturn continues.
I also believe he will need to keep his performance levels up to retain his place, if the new signings come on board this next window.
IMHO, over the next 4 month he needs to show better than he has over the last 4 years.
Remember this is IMHO.

Bob knaaars his opinions

Although I’m partial to a bump ya have to wonder whether this one has run its course.
It’s only on here because he’s playing very well. I probably agreed with the thread when it was started. However we’re now in a position we’re he’s deservedly keeping our two left backs off the pitch, based purely on very good performances. I’m always happy to be proved wrong when the outcome is best for the team. Gooch has earned his place for the next game & will play a lot more if he keeps going as he is.
