Things the club can't afford to write off = £710 from a non league side as a long established goodwill gesture for an u23 game.

Things the club can afford two write off = £20,500,000 worth of parachute payments.
Aye, Madrox loaned themselves £20m of the clubs own money and tell fans they won't be paying it back. Had to be forced to offer fans refunds for season tickets. Now we want £710.50 of an amateur football club.

Vince is one of the heartbeats of non league football in the North east, so please refrain from calling the bloke.

Have been to Crook a couple of times. Proper old ground, can only imagine how good it must have been back in the day.

If it was a team in the conference then fair enough, but Crook are a long way from that, and £700 is a lot of money for some teams.
