Trouble after match

Bit of a difference a few mags working or living in London/Birmingham going to local club down there to watch you get beat
There's a difference between a mag living in London, where there are a million other things they could be doing, going to watch Sunderland play Charlton and some little scruffs from Hebburn jumping on a 15 minute metro to cause trouble? I suppose they are different, but they are equally tragic, and neither one disproves the other.

I give up.....no doubt by tonight it'll have gone up 500 Mags in away end in full NUFC kit with flags

We like to think so;)
Well its gone down in Newcastle Folklore that you must have 3,000 in The Fulwell end in 85 theres that many who claim to be there!! Be mags in 30 years time remembering how they took the S.O.L in 2021 ;)

There were a load of them outside the Colliery Tavern before the game as well singing anti Sunderland songs, really did seem a big day out for them
It probably was a big day out, considering they were probably playing Blyth regularly 20 year back. Wait till Shields visit the SOL

Agreed, I don't sing it at your lot either. Thing is a lot of the younger fans won't even know why it's sung. For me, the whole incident isn't something to joke about, it ruined lives of innocent people. I get that football crowds aren't meant to be nice like, but marietta higgs is a step too far imo. That and the fact its embarrassing when you see a dad just taking his bairn to the match and having to put up with always look in your sons underpants or get your tits out for your dads. You've got my sympathy on that one, it's pathetic
Smashing post mate.
As I said, in no way was i aiming my winge at you.
Agree 100%.

I played against them for bishop auckland around 20 years ago in the fa cup qualifying rounds so your not far wrong mate

What time was that mate, we were threatened pretty much straight after the game, was me in my 50's, my lad 17, my mate in his 40's and his dad in his 70's, brave lads picking on us Told we had 5 minutes to leave, we stayed for 2 pints and they never came back but police had been round shortly after, was v quiet when we left.
About 9.45 -10 pm just waiting there as out train was 10.20 pm, nearly all Sunderland fans had left.

Morecambe fans have a lower league history of hooliganism. They were the cause of the death of a football club chairman some years back.

They are really tin pot. In terms of proper hooliganism, they score 1.5/10 (just hallf a point more than Darlo). OK, years ago they had a few thugs that would only go to their big games (Barrow / York...) just to cause trouble, away game creatures only. They fought against the Scarborough chairman who then died, leaving kids and wife. Great! Well done Morescum! They apeare to have 'fans' from that quite wide North Lancs catchment that co-ordinate only against the perceived bigger clubs.
