Not at all, they only need to fence the away coaches off in the East Stand car park, It happens at loads grounds.

Were all routes blocked off when the away fans were in the South Stand? No.

Exactly this. Bristol Rovers' fans removed them and they weren't seen again for ages.

As I said before, if they're so keen to come through and get a resction, why not turn up at a boozer where they know they'll get one?
Also seems they made themselves as known as possible at the end in order to have a load of Coppers waiting to look after them as they come out.

Time they just put a few plain clothed old bill in the away end and it'd soon stop because with respect the stewards are not up to scratch when these spotty faced cokeheeds act themselves. SAFC OK.

They still have to get tickets from away club which should have protocols/systems in place to stop rival fans of the opposition getting tickets

You'd think so, yes but as a Sunderland fan who lives in the North West, should I be subjected to deeper scrutiny if I want a ticket to the match?
Mind you I suppose I wouldn't be in the away end, but still.

And it sounds like those Morecambe teenagers last night were met with some retaliation outside the ground by ours and a couple of truncheons for good measure.

I find it hard to believe myself. It is a strange mentality. But the fact is we do get people turning up in Newcastle shirts in the away end at our home games and in the home end at our away games.

I have seen it with my own eyes and there are plenty photos kicking around as evidence.

Why do they do it, I don't know, but some of your fans clearly do attend our matches, and are clearly trying to make a statement when they are wearing colours.
