Trouble after match

It is true, I go home and away and have seen it at places like Coventry, Lincoln, etc.

I was approached by two Mags at Shrewsbury when I was walking through town with Mrs Bear Heed.

I asked them to step closer as I'm hard of hearing at which point they legged it. I'd already decided which one I'd hit first.
And again as I said earlier you will get some mag fans at away games who live or work down south for whatever reason think its good to support your rivals and will be able to get tickets posted because the address they give is in London/Birmingham/Shrewsbury etc. But getting tickets for an away game at SOL on a wet windy Tuesday night is absolute bollocks

As an exile I sometimes jump on the away supporters coach for our home games, Southampton, etc.

I could easily go to the ground and buy tickets for the away section.

It's easy.

I hear that the mags are meeting up with Plymouth on Saturday.
Be prepared , Newcastle fans are the official rent a mob.
Embarrassing 😳

You'd think so, yes but as a Sunderland fan who lives in the North West, should I be subjected to deeper scrutiny if I want a ticket to the match?
Mind you I suppose I wouldn't be in the away end, but still.
But in the case of Morecambe etc any online ticket applications from NE/SR postcodes for an away game at SOL should/will be refused as far as they are concerned its Sunderland fans trying to get in and cause trouble the same as applications from Liverpool for away tickets for home game v Man Utd

A fair argument but I suspect Morecambe will be thinking "not our problem" and sell the tickets

Your a SAFC fan buying a ticket fair enough but a mag fan living in Morecambe isn't going to buy a ticket for an away game on wet windy Tuesday night at SOL

It might work that way for Man U/Liverpool, Sunderland/Newcastle etc but it certainly wouldn't for Sunderland v Morecambe.

I spent many years living in Manchester and Liverpool and had no problem ordering my away tickets when Sunderland played any of those teams despite my Manchester/Liverpool postcodes.

I don't know what went on last night. I wasn't there.

I also appreciate you would probably not attend a Sunderland match, just like I would never attend a Newcastle match unless we were playing you. But it is a fact that some of your supporters do appear at some of our matches and there is little point in you trying to deny it, especially whilst posting on an SAFC message board.

Why not? If he's going over with some Morecambe supporting mates?
Well would SAFC sell tickets for a away game v Portsmouth/Fleetwood/Bolton/Ipswich to those postcodes

No idea, I don't work in the ticket office!

Well all clubs have a minority or idiots NUFC and SAFC and whilst i have no proof I'm sure a few SAFC fans living down south will have had a ticket to see us get tonked a few times

Clubs like Morecambe aren't geared up for stuff like that.

Like you, we have exiles all over the country. Should I be refused a ticket for Rovers or City, just because I live in Bristol? No, because I have a proven purchase record at the club. You do it with online sales only, and ban the creation of new accounts for certain games.

Proven purchase record with history if you had no history whatsoever and tried buying a ticket it would be refused
