Trouble after match

The best answer to clampetts throwing things over the op is a great big net with shit visibility. Leave it down at the start and pull it up the first time a single thing goes over the edge. Then the away fans who have their viewing ruined can police it themselves.

Surely that camera system will see the flare thrower from last night behind bars.

A line of 10-15 police stops it mate. The club are just too cheap to pay for it

Wrong.

Were you in the North Stand during the game or immediately after ?

I suspect you weren't.

No, me dad was though and me and him drove through and back together last night and he mentioned nowt other than about the football on the way home. From what I’ve read on here it seems to be getting based on some anti Sunderland songs being sung, no actual Newcastle songs which you don’t reckon a large group of them would’ve sung if together and giving it the biggun?

Been there many times. Nice place. The promenade is the best thing about the town. It’s really nice. A lovely walk whatever the weather and to see Eric is a bonus.

Don’t know where Morecambe is? Who are you? Frankie Bridge?
It's not nice at all. I've been there a few times but wouldn't dream of going there for a holiday. The pubs at the front are rough as fuck.

It's too late once one comes over.

I was to close to the overhang to see what was going on, but it sounded like they were taking people out in the 20 minutes or so after the flare came over.

Hopefully it was more than just an ejection.

The second the flare went over mate, there was an exodus of young lads from the away end. This all happened whilst the stewards looked confused

What will we do if we ever play Leeds or Everton again at home and they bring a good squad through? They'll likely just take the piss

Ironically There’s been hell on against both of those sides in recent-ish times at the SoL when they’ve acted up. Everton in the cup outside the South Stand and Leeds at the Wheatsheaf junction in the cup a few years ago. Coventry another one who were met with windmilling think after/before the 5-4 game. Tend to find at our place when people who actually make themselves known outside the ground try to take the piss there’s more often than not retaliation. Obviously not possible when people go under the radar or wait until they’re up in the gods of the north stand.

Couldn’t give a shit about a few away supporters acting like a set of dicks to be honest.

Too old to worry about such trivia anymore.

If they get a slap from someone then so be it , I’ll not lose any sleep either way.
Me neither

When those games come around again they will be properly policed,at the moment due to cost the policing and security. seems practically non existent

Plus it’s much harder for tickets to fall into the wrong hands. At the moment not only are the games being poorly policed, but getting hold of tickets for away fans seems very easy

What about that "Sunderland are a massive club - are they fuck " ?

Surely you don't think that Morecambe fans are familiar with all of that shite.

It takes about 5 minutes for the away fans to get downstairs at full time, roughly the same as it takes me, in row 28, to get out. Your dad might well have got out much sooner and missed it

…… and the Morecambe fans saying there were mags in with them.

Rival's messageboard, 1:15am.

Go to bed you absolute fking knacker.
No I was at work part through a shift pal and on a break
Do you lot honestly believe any Mag fans are going to travel down to your dump on a wet windy Tuesday night fork out £15 or £20 on a ticket (which can only be bought from the away club),petrol/travel money down a few pints lets call it £30 just to sing a few naughty songs about the locals

This is like a game of Chinese whispers.......one person says they heard/saw a mag in North Stand and before long 50 have been seen allegedly

It wouldn't be THAT much more effort than writing 400 posts on your rival's messageboard, would it? And it's not like there isn't hundreds of photographs of sad acts going to our away games and sitting in the home end in NUFC replica kits either.

Put them in the SE corner along with the away coaches and cordon the area off. Straight out and away , no hassle.

And blocking all the main routes from the South and West Stands back to the City Centre. Totally unfeasible, unless they're locked in for 15 minutes after the game.

If I can believe that a tick Mag **** would be on a Sunderland message board during the night and then again the next morning ....... and I can believe what I saw with my own eyes, then the answer is Yes.

You are obsessed with us
