Feeding the troll and the feeling of power that he is making people work. Always the same patter, prove it in depth, show your own calculations, but as happens every time as soon as someone does (I’ve done it myself plenty) it is waved away as bollocks or just a blinkered view, without any substance to back that up. I think he gets a kick out of setting people homework, knowing they are putting effort into something that will be dismissed without valid reason.
I always think of one point where he agreed he would give full details if I did, diagrams, calculations etc. I provided my part and then I bet you can guess what happened? My detailed explanation where the maths matches observational evidence waved away with a few nonsensical words and then 4 lines of gibberish, no diagram, no calculation just that veiled insult of “if you think logically about what I just said you know it must be true, if you can break away from what narrative has been drummed into you”.

I think there are two issues. He is so entrenched in his ideas that as soon as he is following any explanation, he spots something that might be leading to proof of the globe and backs away sharply. As @fyl2u reminded us, it has still not been agreed that after 81 pages the tangent of a circle forms a right angle with the normal. Admittedly that one died a death at a far earlier stage than I expected.
But the other issue is the other phrase that dominates "it makes no sense to me". Pretty much, I don't understand, therefore wrong, therefore massive conspiracy. Easier to just admit you don't understand. I don't really understand how covid, the bodies natural immune defence and the various vaccinations work and I have not spent the time reading up on it. But my personal lack of knowledge doesn't mean none of these things exist.

And I'm not sure how to show you something rotate in still images other than to show a time lapse. The nature of stills is that nothing moves.
I may be a bit drunk, but I've just looked out my kitchen window and the moon is rising in the east in a crescent shape with the main body of the crescent at 8 o clock.
I saw the sun through the clouds at about 3pm and it didn't look crescent shaped.
The thing is, the moon is pretty low in the sky, but in 7 hours the sun will be appearing in the same place.
How the hell do these reflections work?

Still no reply as to how Australia definitely exists because he knows someone who has been, but the North Pole doesn't exist even though my mate has been there

Early in my career I saw a job advertised with the British Antarctic Survey. Looked like a great job, but would have been two years away and recently engaged, didn’t want to move as far away from the then girlfriend as humanly possible without leaving the planet. Ironically a close friends boyfriend got a role on the same team and I ended up sitting with a lot of the team at their wedding, including the person who got the job I had looked at. They had got to do a bit of travelling around the Antarctic to the other research stations and the night sky was amazing.
According to flat/dome/retarded earth enthusiasts either the Antarctic doesn‘t exist or if it does it exists as a ring near the inhospitable zone. That makes the distances between Antarctic research stations some of the longest trips on the planet. But using even the most ancient navigation techniques and seeing they were practically below the southern cross, they knew they were very close to the south pole.
Were all these people conned? If so how? Where actually were they and why did GPS plus the stars say they were near the south pole on a globe? Their usual route in was via South America, which could give a location for this fake Antarctic, but they had regular travellers from and some went back via Australia. That would be an epic journey on a disc, needing to cross the entire planet, with going over the north pole being the shortest route. It doesn’t seem to work.
So, were they liars? Could be, I didn’t go there myself, but then given the jobs were widely advertised, if I had applied, would I have been brought into the lie and given my script? What interest did those people have in telling a random bloke on their table at a wedding all the lies? This seems very odd too.
Or is the world just a globe and the conspiracy theorists just paranoid delusionals? Seems far more likely to me.

It would have been good, pretty unique and tax free! I think if I had been single I would have gone for it. People did two year stints. They say it is usually good to have something interesting on your CV as a talking point at interview. “Well when I lived in the Antarctic, we had a problem and could not just nip down to PC World, so I …….” etc etc

You can accept Antarctica or the north pole exists as told but you don't know for sure if it exists in terms of a spinning global set up.And nor do any of the people who claim to have been there.
I accept people have trekked to extreme cold climates but I do not accept they hit the centre of anything, north pole or south pole as we're told.
The mere fact I do not believe we live on a spinning globe should be very clear to people that I obviously do not believe in a north or south pole as told.

And so consistently. Why is the waxing crescent always in the early evening sky but the waining crescent always in the early morning sky? Exactly what you would expect with a moon orbiting a globe earth. Exactly what you would not expect in random secondary reflection world.
