Even with the international break our energy levels are poor, had a decent spell at the end but overall a very poor half. Gooch is a waste of a shirt.

Yet another referee giving us nowt and calling cheap fouls for the opposition. Let them off when they messed up a pass and we were away then didn’t give give two Stonewall pens.

Now we are in the usual position of him being an insecure prick and trying to prove a point.

It’s week after week.
Thing is though, we know what the refs are like. Seems like it’s their cup final reffing at sol. So we have to make sure we look to play accordingly. Apply pressure to the opposition, Force them into obvious fouls as needed and give the referee no choice on his decisions.
LJ getting booked again for hobbiting around isn’t going to help us one bit in the refs mind.

Both penalty shouts were soft, the body check on Stewart earlier wasn't as much. But as you say, you have to be consistent. A few minutes before Sunderland broke away and it was pulled back for a free kick where even on the replay it was hard to see what it was for.

I don't mind if we don't get stuff, but when we are not getting the free kicks and they are, it tips the balance of the game.
The second penalty shout was nailed on. What are you watching ?

A little micropub in Whitstable had bottles of Evolution from the Sunderland based Darwin brewery on the bar for take out sales on Thursday. Opened one to see us through the second half, it will get us an early goal.

Better not need two of them, it is 8.3% and I've got a dog to walk after the final whistle. Great to see a tiny Sunderland brewery selling down in Kent though.

Blows my mind people saying both penalty shouts were soft. First one is a foul anywhere else on the pitch without hesitation. The rugby tackle at the back post? Absolutely comical how easy a penalty that was. Don’t care what anyone says, we are disproportionately on the end of bad decisions in this league.

I accept that I'm biased but, we should have had at least one penalty and their player who went down like he'd got shot, in the box, should have been booked for simulation.

Get Gooch off and put Geads on.

Broadhead gives an extra dimension to our game.

Wish we would learn the dark arts. Ipswich in the ref's face every decision.

So far; so reasonable.
