Ipswich have stroked it around canny
We haven't been chasing them.
Aye it does annoy me that we don’t seem sharp at closing down, we seem to make it easy for the opposition in possession.
Although toward end we had some fight in us at least. And when low on confidence what you ask for is fight and passion.
Hope we move up a gear in 2nd half as kicking towards me 😜

Much better last 20 once we quit playing long ball and actually played through the lines getting Neill and Embo on the ball! High tempo is the way forward

Yet another referee giving us nowt and calling cheap fouls for the opposition. Let them off when they messed up a pass and we were away then didn’t give give two Stonewall pens.

Now we are in the usual position of him being an insecure prick and trying to prove a point.

It’s week after week.
Both penalty shouts were soft, the body check on Stewart earlier wasn't as much. But as you say, you have to be consistent. A few minutes before Sunderland broke away and it was pulled back for a free kick where even on the replay it was hard to see what it was for.

I don't mind if we don't get stuff, but when we are not getting the free kicks and they are, it tips the balance of the game.

Though both sides were poor for the first half hour. Didn't seem to be a game plan and there was no pressing forward or urgency. We sparked into life for the last fifteen minutes and looked more promising. Hope he's firing then up and we come out fighting in the second half. We can win this.
