This isn't about percentages being higher or lower.
If you partake in anything PIF are part of whether it's 00000000000000000.1% or 20%/50%/80% or 100% you're still buying into it.
Great, using your logic I’ve bought one share in Tesla. I’ve emailed Elon Musk’s secretary re the next director’s meeting and she’s blocked me 🤷

So basically if these very same people went to take over Sunderland you would cease to be a fan and supporter....right?
And you would expect/hope everyone would follow suit, then have the club open to potential outside interest or even dissolved....right?

Ok, so you'd now expect everyone to stop buying into anything the PIF offers, right?
Let's assume they took over Sunderland.
You get your wish and everyone abandons the club and effectively killing it off and restarting some kind of FC Sunderland type of club where bread and butter football can be restarted at non league grass roots level.
You now watch your club get taken over by the rich or by plastic supporters who fill the places the moralistic one's gave up.

Would that be ok?

Now then, all that needs to happen from this point is for all the moralistic ones to stop taking part in all the rest of the stuff that's on offer from the PIF.
People can argue it and say " ahhh here we go, using other stuff" but it's all about morals...right?

Imagine if both clubs were taken over by Arabs and we all gave the clubs up and all watched as the clubs we once loved were all taken up by those plastic fans and we started taking interest in FC Newcastle and FC Sunderland.

We then totally give up on anything that remotely appears to be part of a regime that does not suit our set up due to atrocities and what not.
The ideal scenario or a scenario that will not work.
What do you reckon?

Then we're all sociopaths if that's the case. And it doesn't just include Newcastle fans.
More utter waffle

In fairness, I don’t agree with mocking her appearance.

Criticise her for being so self-absorbed and greedy that she is prepared to work with misogynistic, homophobic, barbaric murderers to achieve her ambitions.

I’m not sure what the need is to have a dig at the way she looks, especially if it’s linked to an illness.

Apparently so, aye

Oof, to be fair I think mag in peace has been largely alright on this thread but that one's gone over the boundary. Can't be saying we should be better than criticising people for how they look whilst calling people fat fuckers and cabbage head ffs
To be honest that’s my problem with him. He tries to present himself as a well considered voice of reason but everything he’s been saying has an under current of deflection and hypocrisy.

He adds brief caveats at the end of posts to give the impression of balance but it doesn’t wash for me. ‘We’re the richest club in the world, gonna win the lot and it’s going to be class, sadly’.

I really like his posts on the politics board and from those his values are closely aligned with mine. But his contributions on this topic are completely at odds with what he says elsewhere and in fact undermine or entirely void his points on other topics. That’s what I’ve found disappointing and what’s wound me up. I probably admire a few of the others that don’t bother with the pretence of caring more. At least they’re honest with themselves.

If you don't buy into any of it and buy into nothing from any country that commit bad/terrible/atrocious acts then you have a stronger argument.
That is utter rubbish.
PIF (Therefore the KSA) OWN 80% of your club. That makes them OWNERS of your club.
Not small shareholders with no say on the running of the club or business…..actual OWNERS.
They NEVER owned Disney (and have sold what shares they had for a profit), they don’t OWN Uber and they don’t own every drop of petroleum on the market, so filling up your car is quite simply a redundant argument.

You try to come over as a reasoned human being in your insipid replies to counterpoints, but in reality you are no more than a beige KSA flag waver.
“Moralistic viewpoints are subjective” you say….that is true.
BUT if you have the morals which go against everything the KSA stands for (as you have stated you do) then not standing behind those morals to challenge it because you are an ‘NUFC supporter” is washing your hands and turning a blind eye to all of the atrocities perpetrated by your club’s….OWNERS.

You can come back with your bland dissections of this post line by line if you wish, but everyone sees you for the moral vacuum that you are.

Saudi investors pump $144m into London’s office market:

Arab investors have invested £1.2 billion ($1.68 billion) in London’s office real estate market since 2018, with Saudi Arabia accounting for £103 million, according to industry data
.”

And most recently, another Saudi investment up there in the North East which dwarfs the Newcastle deal:

Saudi Arabia's SABIC to invest at Teesside plant in northeast England:

The British government said that Saudi petrochemical firm Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) would invest nearly 1 billion pounds ($1.37 billion) at its Teesside facility in northeast England with the aim of decarbonisation.

"Fantastic to see nearly £1 billion invested in @SABIC's Teesside facility, creating and safeguarding 1,000 jobs," British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a on Wednesday evening.”

Like it or not, the U.K. is awash with Saudi money. Either allow it all, including Newcastle, or reject it all. To pick out one investment (Newcastle) for special criticism looks more like jealousy than concern about human rights.
No its not jealousy. To think an investment in property, for example, is even close to being the same as buying a football club used to launder the image or one of the very worst nation states on earth for abuses to humans is just mental.

Why have so many people become hard of thinking that they can't distinguish between the two?

The person who masterminded the killing of Jamal khasoggi runs a twitter account constantly going on about the Newcastle - saudi link. The bloke led a campaign to chop a journalist up with a bone saw.

Your club and support is actively being used to jump on any journalist who is even the slightest bit critical of the saudi regime.

But the cult can't see the issue with them owning a football club.

Hahahaha. 13 hours standing in the cold just so Beheaddie Howe could pretend to read a fake letter?

Waiting 13 hours for that piss poor reaction  I thought it was canny shan of Howe, he could have made more of it. It might have helped if the lad had properly explained the background mind.

Yes well done Newcastle fans, if there’s one thing Newcastle fans are known for its standing up for women hahahahahaha fkn joker

I've noticed that a new line that has clearly come from Saudi controlled accounts (and picked up by their new cult) is that any journalist who speaks out against the new owners has an issue with women running football clubs.

I mean the irony is off the scale. But is another tactic being used to quieten the dissenting voices.

As someone who mixes with mags a lot unfortunately but have done all my life as I’m from wardley originally but now live in Boldon but still drink and skip between the 2, pretty neutral (Boldon) and more mags but we’ll supported by Sunderland even though it’s outnumbered.

as many have known for decades, the mags I know in general are pretty much the same as us, in terms of passion, numbers, etc.
the one major difference has always been and always will be their arrogance towards other clubs and fans.
they will simply not accept they are on anything but a better level than elite clubs.
they Pretend to play the shite team/club card as a defensive mechanism but when it comes down to it and u get them in a conversation about football they will always and I mean always revert to type and assume they should be achieving much more than they do.

there will always be a righteous belief among the vast majority that they should be competing with the top teams purely because of their numbers. That will never ever leave than as a fan base. It’s drilled in.

thing is. It’s without doubt their biggest downfall. They can’t see it though.
This is the beauty of the takeover they’ve had.

they’re completely hooked in.
They’ve embarrassed themselves on an incredible scale with these new owners because they are so desperate to be a somebody, a face, a top team/club !!
let them get on with it and laugh if it goes wrong. Laugh if it doesn’t !
laugh all the time because if there’s one thing that’s 100% gonna happen. It’s the fact they’ll make a fuckin arsehole of themselves.

for everyone of u horrible dirty snivelling mags who get on here, know this. We couldn’t give a fuck what u think.
99% of safc fans and 99% of mag fans would think your absolutely pathetic for being on a safc fans forum!! Out of all the weasel mags that are out there. U r the worst. Pure snakes.

ask yaself one question ! What am I doing on a safc fans message board ???

FTM
Cracking post. The Mags I know are just the same as my SAFC supporting mates. Its the dafties on social media and Hall Children of the 90s who think they're "different".
