Whatever is was bought for is out of my hands.
If there's a football team playing called Newcastle United, plying their trade in England then I'm supporting it, regardless.

Nothing I can do about that.

Have any came out and said they're ecstatic about atrocities or ecstatic about the club being taken over and Ashley gone?

I do support my club and football was sold to the devil a long time ago. As for me, I simply enjoy the football and enjoy supporting my club. The politics are not my issue.
Are you now denying a large number of your fans specifically wanted the Saudis to take over? Don’t be silly.

Nothing you can do about it? Your club arranged ‘boycoutts’ and shouted at shops because you didn’t think your owner was spending enough money. If that outrages your fan base but you’re ok with the brutally of the Saudi regime what does that say about your fans?

You can’t pick and choose what parts of your owners you like and don’t. The atrocities come part and parcel, if your are happy with the Saudis you’re either happy or indifferent about what they stand for.

Your club always had a soul, you just had an owner who ran your club as a business rather than a passion project. Now your in bed with murderers your club has lost its soul, and as I said it’s not even a club anymore, you only exist for sportwashing. If that doesn’t bother you, then that is a question about your morals, or lack thereof, not about Sunderland fans making valid criticisms.

And good on him because once he does he's going to be crucified.

Football has been ****** for a long time, you''re right on that. As for us putting a cherry on the top. I'd say it's just another layer waiting for the next topping.

Of course you do but then again you'd have likely hoped that if any owner took over, so it's not really any shock. I'd expect nothing else to be fair.

Id suggest this takeover could only be topped by North Korea.

‘Morals are subjective’ of course they are but how about you show a moral compass and challenge their intolerance of gay people and treatment of women.

Wonder how many NUFC fans have been unfaithful in relationships. They’d do prison time over there for that I’m sure.

You had EIGHTEEN MONTHS to campaign against these prospective new owners on moral grounds and you got blinded by the excitement of getting out Mike Ashley and forgot to. Shame on you all.

Problem is thicker mags are getting gas lighted by thousands of Saudi bots, some from Saudi some pretending to be mags. The things that are constantly repeated as a deflection tactic has come from these bots that have stated it so many times, people start to believe it. The art of manipulation and propaganda is central to Saudi approach to the world. You just have to look at that Kate Stewart or whatever the account is called, and why anything remotely critical of the Saudi involvement is suddenly swarmed by replies
Kate Stewart22 is as much a woman as Hettonlass but way more dangerous. Court papers in the US link the Kate Stewart account to Saud Al Qahtani who is as absolute wrangun.

All of the above shows that YOU have ZERO moral fibre.
Like I said, morals are subjective.
Nothing you can do???…are you kidding me?
No I'm not kidding you.
Does following a football club mean more to you than basic humanitarian values?
Following Newcastle United means one thing. Following a football club that I chose.
Humanitarian values is a different subject.
Ask me it without using football as your battering ram.
There is PLENTY that can be done….starting with boycotting (correct spelling, I know….) the club and following your beliefs.
I won't be boycotting Newcastle United.
….except you don’t have any real beliefs do you?
Many.
You can now have no more thoughts on human rights, women’s rights, gay rights, murdering of dissidents or the obscene bombing of innocent people in another country.
You are welcome to think what you want to about me.
Your thoughts on such matters are now crystal clear by your lack of protest against and shallow support of the regime that is guilty of running roughshod over basic humanitarian issues.
Crystal clear to you, maybe. You're welcome to it, as above.
To paraphrase John Lennon: How do you sleep?
Quite well most of the time.

We'll be whatever people decide we'll be in their own mind and as a peer pressured collective.
Carry on with what you need to get off your chest but it won't stop me from being a Newcastle United fan and supporter.
I've donated to Amnesty International for 25 years because I believe in what they stand for.
The reaction of fans like yourself sickens me. If you believed in justice and freedom you'd walk away.
Honestly, that phrase bandied about on the day of takeover "We've got our club back" couldn't be further from the truth. You lost your club that day. I'd pity you if you weren't so complicit.

There was nothing the fans could do. Ashley sold up when he seen fit.
You could have campaigned and boycotted the club en mass, emailed sponsors telling them you won’t accept the club if this new ownership could take control.

If you GENUINELY felt so helpless and powerless than none of you would have boycotted and protested against Ashley if you didn’t believe those actions could result in the desires change.

You could have written the Premier League to campaign to get them to add a morality clause into the ownership test but instead you did the opposite and bashed on about evil Premier League with their agenda holding up the takeover.

There was A LOT you could have done you just CHOSE not to.

Maybe they did. I didn't and not because of this argument, it's because I suspected we would become a plastic club. Only time will tell on this but if we manage to skip around stuff to spend big then that'll speak for itself.

It says some are over the top and some are over passionate and some are out for trouble...etc....etc.....etc.
You can’t pick and choose what parts of your owners you like and don’t.
I can't pick the owners at all and I also don;t need to concentrate on them.
The atrocities come part and parcel, if your are happy with the Saudis you’re either happy or indifferent about what they stand for.
Nope.
Your club always had a soul, you just had an owner who ran your club as a business rather than a passion project.
The club is a club. A soul doesn't come into it.
Now your in bed with murderers your club has lost its soul, and as I said it’s not even a club anymore, you only exist for sportwashing.

To me it's still my club and that's all I'm bothered about.
To you it's lost whatever you feel it's lost. I'm not in control of your thoughts and you're welcome to them.
If that doesn’t bother you, then that is a question about your morals, or lack thereof, not about Sunderland fans making valid criticisms.
I was more worried youd get Gerrard to be honest.
I was hoping we wouldn't. I don't particularly like him and being a Rangers manager does not offer him anything better than what we already have. I'd take Eddie Howe everyday of the week and twice on a Sunday, over Gerrard.

Not going to waste my time debating it with you when you clearly have nothing to say and seem to be morally bankrupt. You have my pity though, I couldn’t imagine living without moral integrity, it’s the one thing I know no one can ever take from me.
