The immediate back-pedaling and bargaining with themselves after the reality of Howe getting the job is absolutely class. If you’d said to them on day one of the takeover “it’s going to be Eddie Howe” they’d have laughed at you and told you they were in the elite now and sure to get Poch etc.

Now he’s here it’s “he will give us a basis to build on….THEN we can get a big name”. Their delusion won’t let them admit this is the best they can get and the takeover is not quite like City or PSG as they had hoped.

Sold their souls for an out of work manager who relegated Bournemouth 😂
