He's the son of an Ashington miner and, NUFC apart, hasn't done that much wrong imo. You can argue that the Metro Centre is another ugly monster but it creates employment, etc.

Interesting that the club have contacted them to ask if there’s going to be a protest. Shitting themselves, better get used to it.

‘The Newcastle chair basically came back and said: ‘Newcastle aren’t happy. If you’re going to do a demo that’s fine but let us know beforehand so we’re aware of it and it doesn’t come as a surprise and they can prepare a response.’

They said straight off that they wanted to collaborate with the new owners. And that looks like the classic work of the collaborator. It's appalling.
