I thought they appointed Hughes. He had a very decent record with Blackburn before that. He'd achieved far more than this lad that the world's richest club are after.
Mark Hughes was brought in around June 2008 after City had sacked Sven Goran Eriksson and Sheik Mansour came in around September of that year.

The difference between City and the mags, was that City were already a decent team sitting comfortably mid-table where they already had a good squad of players. The mags on the other hand will be doing well to avoid relegation.

Ah my mistake, I thought the takeover happened first.

So far the richest club around has poached a 3rd rate youth coach from the 3rd division and hired Eddie Howe who has been out of work for 18 months.

:lol::lol: richest club, poverty ambition? Something is odd

As I posted earlier the way things are panning out given the money they've spent to get here is mad.

There's a good case to be made that Staveley and her husband will get the bullet at some point.
Their terrible management of what should be a triumphant situation can't have gone unnoticed by the people who've just spent £1.3 billion to come to the table.

Football in Britain has never that been political. Most fans are annoyed as the Saudis have plenty money. If the mags were bought out by a country which was skint nobody would give a toss.

Nah not having that. The Mags have been bought by absolutely horrific individuals. Murderers in fact. If they were skint we'd 100% be talking about their hideous crimes.

Therell be zero done about it and you know it.
The reality is it’s yesterday’s news to everybody outside Wearside.
Really, we live in Hertfordshire surrounded by Tottenham and Arsenal fans. Every morning my daughter form tutor picks a news topic to debate (he is a Jewish Spurs fan). Today’s topic was the Saudi’s buying Newcastle and their appealing record on human rights. Every person in the class agreed it is not right and the takeover should not have been allowed. What do you make of that bistro breath?
