They're between a a rock and a hard place.

Any manager coming in wants a long term contract and assurances of spending.

Newcastle want someone who will keep them up but is removable cheaply if they go down.

They can't have both

They paid a billion quid to fix the piracy issue to buy the club. Sacking somebody on the cheap is not gonna be a concern even with relegation.

FC Barcelona are ready to accept an offer from to sign Philippe Coutinho on loan with a mandatory option to buy at the end, making him the first signing of the new era in January. [SPORT]

.. No manager. No Director of Football.. Who's picking the transfers, Mandy? ..

This....tbf it may not be too long before you clean up like a kid on cheat mode on FIFA but we might as well get a laugh and some mileage out of the current situation while we can.
Quite an unfortunate but very apt spelling mistake...moral instead of morale, not like the mags to miss spell something.
misspell...😂

Like how the government and media are laying into Yorkshire cricket.

What about rapists, torturers, west haters and murderers. It's ok that's in their country, but please dont disrespect them by dressing up as them.
Absolutely typical of the sycophantic hypocrisy from the media over the Mags takeover. Major sponsors deserting Yorkshire CC like rats leaving a sinking ship-be interesting to see if similar happens to NUFC although you’d think it’d have happened by now-their sponsors probably solely interested in the Mags becoming high profile and them getting more exposure for their products!

It’s all sick.

Eddie Howe will be a very precarious appointment.
Firstly, he’s not first (or second, third or fourth?) choice?
He doesn’t have a foreign name.
He doesn’t have any European credentials.
He hasn’t worked for over a year?
His Bournemouth team shipped goals by the bucketload.
He’s a dyed-in-the-wool southerner who, like before, may find it very difficult to settle beyond the Watford gap. And we all know that NUFC fans have used “Southernness” as a stick to beat people with.
He’ll find the scrutiny, impatience & criticism he’ll get at Newcastle a million times worse than ever before.
If they go down with him in charge they’ll be very unforgiving if he fails to get them promoted immediately, more so than with say Emery or Benitez.
One positive though: being from the south Howe will have the sympathetic support of all the national media, so if the NUFC fans do kick-off they’ll get a torrid time off the press.
