What's funny is how you ignore absolutely everyone on the brexit thread who made you look a mug. That's funny.
Really
Brexit was achieved so really who are the "mugs"

Not that this thread is anything to do with it but we'll gross over £1 million again this year, and you think imbecile's like you know better than me about commercial fishing?

Your an even bigger TIT than even I thought

They really need a DoF, maybe they need that first. Sounds like they're aiming to recruit one, and you'd imagine a lot of managers would want to know who they're going to be working with. Added to that, Staveley and the Saudis don't seem to have a clue how to run a football club, so in terms of putting a vision across to managers they'd again benefit from having a DoF in place. Two massive appointments, haven't made either yet. Maybe they'll get it right eventually but it's not a great start like
DoF / Chief Executive is definitely the first, and most important, appointment they need to address. As far as we, and 99.9% of journalists will know, they may well be focused on that.
On it not being a great start we really don't know as we are only reading what are, as far as I can see, opinions.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when the Saudis inevitably decide they don't want her running the club. I think Staveley is trying to draw battle lines already tbh, I think she knows what's coming.
The mental thing is they gave her 10% of the club, might not be easy to get rid. Still don't understand why they didn't just buy 100% of the club and appoint someone good to run it. Why let Staveley and the reubens get 20% between them?

They are when it comes to football. The same applied, as far as I am aware, when Mansoor took over at City. They appear to have had a happy ending.
Fair point, but the next set of appointments are fundamental to that happy ending i.e. they need people who know the game on the inside asap. Marwood would have been an excellent appointment behind the scenes.

Watching Sky and there are direct quotes from Emery which state he has is aware of the interest but has not received a firm offer and if he did he would speak to the Villarreal owners first . I can’t see how this has been interpreted as turning them down . Probably just holding out for more money .

Correct. The DoF / Chief Executive role is where they should be focused. I hope they are.

That was last night though

There's a lot of oddness around the whole thing. That 10% might be their own stupid mistake, because I just can't envisage her being involved long-term. She's publicity hungry and knows nothing about running a football club.

According to Balague, he was told after the post-match interview the latest surrounding the leaks etc. and that was when he decided to stay put.

Did it? I seem to remember them signing Bellamy, De Jong, Robinho and Carlos Tevez, giving Mark Hughes a bit of time and backing then appointing Machini. I can remember them making as many PR disasters as your new lot.
