You obviously need to brush up on your decision making IMO after "thinking" that then appointing himI looked at steve bruces cv and thought he'd probably be a bit shit. Well how wrong I was.

Clickbait for lazy journalists? What do Emery, Favre, Fonseca, Howe and Martinez have in common? This is a genuine question, not the start of a joke.
I can't see what links them as managers/coaches so it all seems a little scattergun to me. Not really indicative of a coherent, well considered, structured, intelligent strategy.
That's only 1.21-1.26PpG.I'm not sure he is either. But he's not a bad manager, and it'll be an improvement on what we have had so far this season. Probably need 34 points from 28 games (or 27 if he comes in after the weekend).
It's possible and with a transfer window it makes things easier

Bruce managed 1.09 at Newcastle overall, but 1.16, 1.18 in his two full seasons.
He’s from HondarribiaIs he from Wallsend?
The Toffees fans are desperate for newcastle to get him tooThey’re literally going to appoint him the week before Rafa gets the boot![]()

Well aside from ability, I don't think there's one thing they're all known for. To me it looks like they're a list of candidates with varying approaches and experiences, from that pool you pick one that best aligns with your other plans, or at least one that your other plans can work with.
Fonseca, Favre, Emery all appear to prefer playing with the ball, with varying degrees of focus on attack. Fonseca being the most, Emery the least attacking minded. Howe likes to play football on the deck, but perhaps isn't as competent a defensive coach as, say Emery or Favre.
Martinez is an odd one, he's not really getting the most out of the most talented Belgian squad in as long as I can remember, and I couldn't really tell you what style he favours except for the attacking stuff at Wigan.
If the choice was between Emery and Howe I'm absolutely delighted with Emery if that's how it pans out. I'd be very interested to hear what convinced our owners to plump for him over Fonseca mind. We had Bruce as manager 4 weeks ago, we could potentially have Emery in for the game this weekend....i'd have taken that 4 weeks ago in an absolute heartbeat. Not my first choice I have to say, probably third or fourth if I'm honest but it's a nicer conundrum this time round than anytime previously under Ashley.
