That doesn't matter because outside of the region, most people haven't a clue that the world's most iconic bridge and best ever sculpture even exist. And the Angel and half the Tyne Bridge aren't in Newcastle either.

And they don't even own that, never mind they don't own their club either. The only thing on there in Newcastle is castle Greyskull ffs
Do you have any landmarks that are actually 100% yours?
There's the statue of the Durham lad who went on to manage Barcelona, the space where a car park was used in the old fim 'Get Carter' 50 years ago and another plot where Broon Ale was brewed in the olden days.
There's loads mate![]()
When you say “worlds most iconic bridge”, do you mean the one that was copied from Hell Gate bridge in New York? That doesn't matter because outside of the region, most people haven't a clue that the world's most iconic bridge and best ever sculpture even exist.
They’ve already annexed Gateshead. Newcastle/Gateshead this that and tuther.Angel of the North is Gatehead, not Newcastle. They've appropriated enough symbols of the NE without any shame for long enough without the general N.E. population buying into it. And remember, only 50% of the Tyne bridge is "theirs".
Yeah I noticed that. I steamed in when you suggested there had been no questions asked.I think you will find, the reason why I hadn't answered this post was because I had already done so dozens of times on the ridiculously long thread. If you would have read it, you'd have known.
Also, to avoid any benefit of the doubt, I answered it again for said poster before you even posted.![]()
Bad crack that fella. Sadly for you and other normal folk who merely love and support your local club, the sportswashing has been a huge success and these non attendees have the biggest voice. Job done.Cheers. A casual acquaintance worked out who I was today and shared it on Twitter with my Twitter name. He immediately regretted it (about an hour later actually) but I’ve had about 50 messages telling me I’m not a real fan, an Ashley apologist, woke scum, closet Mackem, Luke Edwards dad?! Most of them had Saudi flags and had been involved with pile ons with Caulkin and a few other journos.
Against my better judgement I replied to a few wanting to explain my position and most blocked me and those that did engage, well hardly any of them had season tickets or coherent sentences if I’m honest. I’m convincing myself this is a social media minority and it probably is but it’s a bit unsettling the lads and lasses sitting around me at the match could have be one of those 50 messages.
Anything any stinkin mag says@wisemensaysteve what are you disagreeing with? They're not.

The red and white stripes must have scared them off.I hope you're joking as it's nowt to do with being ambigious given it's from 2019It's just a simple copy of summit like the wiki page image for Spanish City as is the Killingworth Colliery image above it. I'm surprised they didn't hoy Souter Lighthouse on there also.
