Depends who it is.
If its someone who doesn't fit the the profile they imagine the club has.. they'll be on his back after a few weeks.

It's bizarre that in all the time they've been shit, they've never for once admitted that the team is shit. If a player misses a shot, or doesn't get a tackle in.... Bruce's fault.

They'll have a pop at the odd player (Ritchie, Joelinton) but by and large they think they have the backbone of a decent team. It's not that long ago that Lascelles, Darlow and Wilson were being touted (by them) for England

I'm starting to think more have morals than I gave them credit for.

This time 3 years ago if you'd have been taken over by non Saudis worth as much, even being second bottom, there'd have been a massive line of managers throwing their hats in the ring saying Newcastle are a massive sleeping giant and hoping for a chance at spending half a billion quid.

This time, nadda.

3 weeks and not a single manager has hoyed his hat in wanting a payday and chance at playing champ manager for real.

You're right mind, the players got an easy ride with Bruce while he was there as he got all of the blame for everything and of course when they won it was done to Jones.

But this is what they do.

They take average players and do the same thing. St. Maximin is a decent player. But he's nowhere as good as they make out. Lascelles was apparently good enough for England at one point, repeat for Darlow, Wilson, Longstaff Shelvey....

They have this bizarre obsession with being a big club, and so they overhype players/managers to fit that agenda.

Like almost everyone else I never gave them a second thought. If you were to believe this board you lot have been outraged by them for ever.
