I'd give Schar a crack in midfield over Longstaff. The fella has played holding mid for Switzerland so he knows the role. He has to be better at breaking up the play than Longstaff.

But yes, your squad does lack quality. Some of your fans seem to think it's about formations and tactics.

I agree with everything you’ve said.
But, I think it’s even more than that, they are so far up their own arses, even before the murderers took over, they thought potential managers would be desperate to manage them. I mean the failing Benitez couldn‘t wait to sucker them. And he succeeded. They worshipped him.

I think they are in for a huge shock, it’s okay them being sportswashed, it wasn’t us, we didn’t ask for it, Disney, uber, blah blah blah, but the world has seen it, they’ve/we’ve seen them protesting and then dancing in tea towels.

Good top class managers have a choice of where they can manage. And they can chose a club without the stench of a murderous regime paying them

The reason it hasnt happened yet is the shitstorm any manager is walking into...not just the set up or league position but having to answer to the constant questions regarding the owners..you would have to be pretty desparate to enter into that

The first mention I can find of yours that mentions Saudi was July 2019 and that was in response to some story about Chopra.

Clearly human rights weren't such a big issue for you until they intersected with NUFC.
