Hopefully Staveley stays as the public face for the club as long as possible 'cos the press will be gunning for her....can't stand the sight of her mesel but just get the feeling she is being lauded and set up for a fall.

Marwood is now "a north east lad" according to a mag recently on the radio whilst hoping he would put his Man City experience to good use with them....more faces than Big Ben some of these f*cka's man!
 

They're struggling to justify it to themselves. The checklist that was published (whether real or fake) is the mantra they're sticking to. Deep down the decent ones know it's so f***ing wrong and try and distance the football club from the Saudi regime. However the fact is the murdering bastard owns them. They can say its the Reubans, Mandy etc but they are minority and puppets. Mandy on board as she's a whore to them but ticks the woman's box. The Reuban as he's a Tory party contributor and stands to make a fortune when keeping the Eton Mess onside. It's a f***ing shitshow. It will, in time, go to shit and they will regret it and the protests will restart.

They have no idea how difficult it’s going to be.

On paper an American billionaire buying SAFC was great for the club.

In practice it meant a couple of years of exciting football followed by utter stagnation.

Overpaid average PL players, lack of passion, pervasive cynicism and hangers on like Big Marge and Gary the Hair feeding off the club like maggots on a sick dog.

There were some great moments like Six in a Row, the miracle and Bruce getting us to 10th(!) but it was far from getting our club back.

NUFC’s talent for drama, hubris and performative stupidity coupled with the moral stain of their new owners mean the PR disasters they’ve already suffered are mere harbingers of what could well be the biggest shitshow in footballing history.

I know money talks but cannot see many established Premier League players being too keen on moving to a team who will obviously be in a relegation battle in January. Might get a few from abroad but very rarely these sign and hit the ground running.

Of course, and with any 'success' that comes with the wealth there'll be an increase in tourists from abroad. Remember sitting in White Hart Lane and seeing a whole section of tourists who'd bought tickets just to watch Son.

I used to work with Brian Marwood. He's a MLF, loves his job at City and personally I think he'd tell them to fuck off

Surely spending £40m on a striker (however un wisely) was a club that was trying.🤷‍♂️


Tourists in London going to watch Son is not the same as some fanatics chartering a flight from Riyadh.

I worked with him when he was Marketing Manager at Nike and used to play 5 a side with him. He despises the Mags with a passion. I'd be amazed if he joined them. Also he has morals.
