Have I missed something here? Shouldn't MBS and his associates be in the Hague and not being allowed to buy an English football Club for the purposes of Sportswashing?

One good thing is obviously any manager or player who signs is going to get dogs abuse. Boro last week, Palace next. Everyone they play will hopefully do this and while they will try to hide it in grounds the more it will grow and the pressure will mount. Nothing illegal about banners that state the truth. They can't stop freedom of speech here as they do in Saudi.

I think there was discussion at the UN about them being investigated for war crimes but the investigation was dropped the week they bought the mags and the week before the investigation began.

Whatabout Ashley ,whatabout Bruce
whatabout Palace when we thought that we might lose
whatabout saudis whatabout trying
whatabout all those makems lieing
did we ever stop to notice
all the blood being spilt before
did you ever stop to notice
the mags are now not poor
ahh haa ahhhh
ohh hoo ooo
Nee likes for this? It took me a short while to realise the Whatabout song 🤣 It's the perfect song for a whataboutery chant and you've got some good stuff in there as a starting block.

Boris Johnson needs to be asked the question “Did bin Salman personally contact you and/or any Government minister and instruct you to tell the Premier League to pass this takeover and threaten you with trade sanctions if you refused?”.

It cannot go away until answered.

He wouldnt answer. He go ummm urrrr well the Premier League ummm errr have their own tests to ermm ummm...

No we didn't, we fought to highlight the unfair influence that the top 6 have over the rest of the league. Something that was later proven to be warranted as they tried to push through the ESL.

The takeover was obviously the platform that initially allowed this to be explored but was not the only aim. I'm all for Tracey Crouch's findings and for an independent regulator.

That is rubbish, Staveley pumped the line it was the top 6 which has proven to be bull as soon as the piracy issue was resolved everything was fine.

Mahs on twitter saying however that PIF are completely independent from Saudi govt....then why did the finance minister for Saudi do an interview about the club? Of course its not independent.
They like coming out with that twitter is partly owned by Saudis... probably a 0.2% investment or something 😂
None of their other "western" investments are bigger than the 5.7% shares they hold in disney
