That's nonsense. Benitez didn't want him and certainly not at £40m, even Ashley says that. It's commonly accepted that Bruce wasn't behind the signing either.

>80% of fans who filled in the Athletic survey said they were concerned about the human rights issues. So, you're talking shite.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🦵🦶✌️🦴💀💀💀

We'll agree to differ, the obessive hatred of Ashley & Bruce and your pathetic victim culture, has completely engrossed the fan base.
Cool beans.
Which fans have suffered worse the the past 10 years the mags, Bury, Macclesfield, Halifax Town, Orient,
Yup
Go and wank over your gravy stained tea towels, but don't come on here and try to justify the takeover by saying any other fans would do the same
They would and if you believe otherwise, you're either blinded by rivalry, or shockingly naive.
You'll living with the stain of blood money as long as that murdering scum own the club, get use to it.
I know.
In the words of Stalin your fan base has just become useful idiots
We have.

On a scale of 1 - not very to 5 - totally, how concerned are you?

They just own Juddmonte!

Juddmonte Farms is a farm, owned until his death on 12th January 2021 by of .
well firstly he is dead now, and secondly, he wasnt part of the saudi govt really and he was a huge part of horse racing, but as a saudi, was the exception not the rule.

Just interested in the argument. I am not closed off to your argument I just think the prominence of the deal and the Premier league make it different whereas the Horse Racing world is very small.
Spot on. The football industry gathers more media attention than any other world wide. Other sports? PetroChemicals? Munitions? Tourism? Agriculture? Retail? None come close.

Disagree. We’ve loads of SAFC supporting knackers on here nivver mind out in the real world.
The difference being we recognise and readily accept the pisstaking and character assassination that normally ensues. It's football, it's the most important thing in the world except it's not, sometimes.

yes indeed..they go into racing to meet the aristocracy and that but football is for mass market appeal..

So we're saying it's alright now he's dead and he was one of them alright Saudi's who put millions of pounds into sport over here.

You know the reason for that. Never before has a manager with such an average record who played utterly turgid football for a group of fans that demand to be entertained, been so idolised. He was idolised because he was a big name who had managed truly big clubs and won things. It made you feel big. On a par with the clubs he’d managed previously. Having him as manager satisfied the neediness that is endemic in your support.

judging all saudis by the actions of the saudi government is called racism...
he was basically a distant cousin of the guy at the helm in saudi now..and cant be accountable for what his distanct cousinfs do..
nor did he use saudi state money to invest in racing..

It might be xenophobia, not racism.
