The fact is he wasn't very good and if he'd done better he wouldn't be out of a job so quickly.
It's weird why he always gets compared to Benitez. I don't think I recall any other managers constantly getting compared to their predecessor over two years later. But that's the conversation, Bruce vs Benitez. Was never Benitez vs McClaren, or Pardew vs Hughton.
Rafa 'got' you. You beatified him. Bruce was on a loss from day one.

Totally ignored my point.

Newcastle football Club was born here, and although their players aren't thoroughbreds they're getting all the stick for taking Saudi money and it's questioned which manager would take their coin.
In the racing world over here there is millions of pounds of Saudi Money swilling around but nobody is questioning the Jockey Club or the training stables why they're taking it and the general public are more than willing to back and cheer their horses.

Disney next up fella?

I think some do understand and will have varying reactions, as I noted in my response to exile.

The point is whatever they feel, the cant do much about it. The premier league's regulations, and the government (if allegations they leaned on the premier league) ought to be the ones being asked the questions in the media.

Got to be a mag this guy! Inability to hear what people are saying to you in plain English = mag alert

Also, like I said previously reason they are to be held account for their actions:

1) They started a grass routes campaign in favour of the takeover involving support of local mps, who raised the issues in parliament about how this was some conspiracy against NWCL ,she practically said “Yers divnt understand” in parliament.

2) They were actively against a pay day long company as their sponsor. Again a campaign amongst fans saying how it went against the traditions of their club. Yet they celebrate when it’s bought by a super rich tyrant. Someone who created a humanitarian crisis in Yemen by bombing civilians (they bombed a school bus FFS) bombed their water supply that has lead to this century’s biggest cholera epidemic. Had woman locked up and tortured for campaigning for the right to drive. Had many critics tortured, kidnapped or killed (most famously the journalist in the embassy). As well as a list as long as 50k of the Jee-Ordy nations brass necks, of other crimes against humanity.

Fuck the fans, self entitled wankers incapable of thinking outside of their tiny little worlds.

Needless to say they're getting a bit prickly and want this to go away. It won't....ever
They torture homosexuals and women , kill children and lure journalists who speak up to their gruesome deaths.

They also fund terrorism and infiltrate governments so they can fly planes into large buildings, thus forcing people to jump to their deaths

Wont go away.

I have no idea. But clearly a very large amount of your fans wanted Saudi blood money. Equally a large amount are busily deflecting from genocide with their Disney bullshit.
I don't think it's as easy as that. I think;
  • Everyone (pretty much) wanted Ashley gone.
  • Loads would want riches.
  • Some don't care where the money comes from.

I think all 3 issues impacted the answer to the question "Are you in favour of the Saudi takeover? Yes/No"
Don't think it is bollox. I was in a pub in Kenton when it was announced and all were going mental. I got the years of pain nonsense, and did point out it could be a lot worse, like 4 seasons in third division, but that went over their deluded heads. Some were talking about getting Pep in. It was great.
On the other foot, I know one lad who has cut up his season ticket, but he is only dissenting voice I've heard, and I live in Tyneside.
Appreciate you holding up your end and you deserve better. Not sure many, if any, sunlun fans would want to trade owners.
I think if the Saudis had come in for you after Short there'd be great swathes of your support who'd be in favour of the takeover.
