Strange how that was never mentioned at the time and only brought up several years later when it couldn’t be proved. His only claim at the time was we never accepted him because of his Geordie roots, despite fully supporting him until the last weeks of his time here.

That's another sad thing for NUFC fans. Bragging rights are no longer a thing whilst being owned by these.

Funny isn't it? Apparently we didn't accept him because he managed you. Wonder if the Villa fans wanted him gone because he managed Birmingham?
