The difference in commentary is embarrassing

Just seen the little YouTube highlights.
Wilson scores - Tyler's voice rises "fairytale" etc Wilson a "natural born striker"
Dembele equaliser - voice stays flat.
Kane goal - voice flat - hoping for VAR.
Son goal - voice flat
Dier o.g. - voice raises again ! Comeback is on

Unbelievable

That's what Brucieball will do to you.
I've never before experienced anti Semitism in Newcastle.

He's a gooner

Of course I hope. I believe it will happen.
Bruce's position is weak and he knows this and so do the players.
A new manager can alter the set up by using the squad to better effect.
I think Graham Jones could do it his own way and get better results.

I'm not going to crucify Bruce. He tried his best with what he had and his own ways. The takeover has changed that set up, or soon will, so good luck to him wherever he goes and we hopefully move onwards and upwards from this point on.

New manager will get these players playing at their level, at least. Which is a sharp improvement on Bruce's mess.

Last season we had two long winless runs (7 and 9 games) and we still ended up with 45pts. I'd say that even if we don't make waves in the January market (which I don't think we will), a better manager than Bruce will get us to safety.
I reckon you'd need David Blaine with Dynamo as his assistant to get the likes of Hayden, Ritchie and Joelinton playing at any sort of decent level.

Yes. Steve Bruce turns people into Nazis, he's got a long history of turning people into Nazis. His whole career is based on turning people into Nazis...

Jesus wept.
Oh, it was just your comment was immediately after another poster said that he was getting zeig heiled by your supporters as they perceived him to be Jewish. Was that not the bit you were commenting on?

I have no f***ing idea what is going on with your fans. They are completely immoral.

Benitez did no better with this squad.

Apart from two players, it is really not very good. If you're short on cash, I'd be tempted to flog (pardon the pun) ASM and try to spend the money wisely.
I didn't like Benitez's ways.
I ended up not liking Benitez.
I very quickly went off him.
I preferred Bruce who at least gave us a bit better football by using a few options in attack with maxi. Something which Benitez would likely never have done.

Aye, he's really got your defence sorted thus far, that lad and it appears he has a decent say already, if you watch him on the sidelines.

From what I've seen, you're another injury to Wilson and one to Saint Maximin away from real struggle.

Ah, apologies I thought you were talking about the flat atmosphere.

No, I've certainly never seen it myself, but I know others have. IT's shocking and that steward should have stopped him, and kicked him out immediately.

Unfortunately, the current climate has emboldened bigots.

I presume this is sarcasm - they have conceded 19 goals! Not sure who "he" is as I am blocking the buffoon you are replying to.

Maybe, maybe not.
I personally think we'll finish the season in a very safe position but that's just my thoughts.

I'll make a bold prediction for us.
I'll go for 13th or 14th.

I don't believe for one second we'll be relegated.

It was outside of the ground on the street that leads to the high level bridge

He reckons Graham Jones would improve their side on his own. From what I've seen, he appears to be taking a front seat as it is - Bruce can barely get a word in on the sidelines

 I think our biggest problem under Bruce is his inability to get a tune out of a defence that was pretty good under the previous manager. Hayden is, at best, a bottom of the Prem/top of the Champ defensive mid. But he needs an organised defence behind him because he's just not that good.

Ritchie is a right winger, pushed to leftback because managers haven't trusted Dummett (or Lewis), he shouldn't be played there at all, imo.

Joelinton is.... Hell I like the guy, but either he needs to play in a system we can't put out, or he needs shifting off to another league.

Decent manager can get us solid at the back and with Wilson, ASM, Willock in attack we should still be able to score goals.

Maybe some will. I don't live in Newcastle and I think it's a great city.

Of course and now others are potentially looking into it. It could become even better. Time will surely tell.

That depends on how you want to look at it.
London's been and is being done to death. Why would anyone want to play catch the scraps when they have a city like Newcastle and the north east in general, which will likely benefit Sunderland massively over the coming years. IMO.

Because the return on investment is not as good as it is compared to places like London and property values do not increase as quickly as they do elsewhere. We're not talking about a fella that wants to buy a second home for £100k to rent out here.

Unsure how Sunderland would benefit, please explain. Why would Sunderland benefit from investment in Newcastle? How has Sunderland benefitted from the disproportionate levels of investment that Newcastle has had over the years in comparison?
