A Mag mate, who was there, was saying she thought the club should've done the decent thing and marked Bruce's 1000th game in some way, even if it was just a mention on the big screen. Personally I doubt the club even thought about it or, if they did, decided they couldn't trust the supporters not to boo. Either that or they just care about presenting the right image, ironically the entire reason they bought the club.

I’m not sure if the Saudis are thinking this is brilliant or what the fuck have we just bought? The scenes yesterday were beyond cringeworthy. Grown men in Arab garb, waving Saudi flags and chanting they’re the richest club in the world. They’ve sold their souls to Satan and made a complete twat of themselves in the process. The entire country has just seen them for what they are.

I don’t think this will end well for them.
Thing is, I could get if fans were at least thinking 'hmmmm not sure about this, very unpleasant regime but its my club and I'll be here long after they're gone'.

But there doesn't seem to be a single strand to that. It's complete fawning with no self awareness as to the nature of the regime they've sold out to.

And fans claiming they've got their club back??!!

Does anyone really think say if Conte was offered an eye watering salary of say £10m a year { plus a promise of big money available for transfers} he wouldnt take the job ??

Dinosaur Parkinson could keep that squad up no problem when theres the likes of Burnley, Watford, Leeds, So'ton and Palace knocking about so no one with ANY SEMBLANCE OF MANAGERIAL ABILITY would be risking it taking them on imho.

Obviously, Conte's huge ego will ensure he won't even consider them, but there's a few half decent names that would crawl there to take it such as Howe, Lampard and Wilder whilst out of work foreigners like Fonseca, Favre etc would undoutedly take it.

Anyone dreaming of the skunks going down is living in cloud cuckoo land sadly, but hopefully, it might be a close run thing with any luck.
Why when naming so called good managers to take over at Newcastle did you mention 2 people that put together relegated teams anyway?

Aye excellent choice!

Their squad is absolutely shit man and leaking goals for fun. They're fucked.

Relegation is still a very real possibility. That squad is terrible, and no big name manager is likely to take it on, knowing they can't spend till January
By January if they are still in among it no one will touch them with a bargepole, and clubs will be demanding silly money for players.

Then what?
It is but their players always manage to lift their game when it suits them as repeated end of season's have shown. They are perfectly good enough to stay up and they will get a new manager bounce along with a few new players and they'll be fine. Days as fun as yesterday were great but sadly will be less and less frequent as time passes.

Conte turned down nearly £20m a season with Spurs, so the mags will be looking at c£25m a season to encourage him to come up north

Totally agree with this. He is their manager and got zero public acknowledgement for his 1000th game in charge. Poor really.

Except you f***ing did, you literally begged them to take you over so it’s no good playing them innocent victims now just own it.

You must be logged on to see media items

 they did exactly that. They pleaded to them through spoilt tears.

And bringing up their investments as if that's a decent argument, they don't own Twitter. Anyone can invest in Twitter, we could all buy a share if we wanted.

Sadly I agree with you. It would be fun though if they could just keep losing til Xmas at least. But anyone will give them a boost after Bruce. And long term I’d expect their plans to succeed.

It’s vile. Truly vile and I hope it’s woke a few people up to the shithousery of the premier league and sky as well. They couldn’t have been any further up the Saudis hoops if they tried. Looks like the mags weren’t the only ones to sell their souls. To be honest I’m more disgusted with them than the cretinous mag fans. I expected that from those fuckwits,

That sounds similar to our final few seasons in the top flight.
