2 sets of high rise flats in middle of town centre

I think those flats are only available to the over 50s so it's meant to be a pretty quiet and peaceful place to live.
There's some wild over 50's mind. Always amazes me why they assume people over 50 are gonna be decent mature law abiding citizens. Couldn't be further from truth in many cases.

If they’re anything like the ones at Gilly Law, you wouldn’t need to pay to heat them. I knew a bloke who lived in one and due to district heating, coupled with the average age of the residents, the flats above and below have their heating on full pelt all of the time.

Not all angels but I'd say your average 55 year old is less likely to be having a mad Friday night session with their mates than an average 23 year old.

Known a couple of people who lived in them over the years..both told me that any problems with noise or owt and the council are out shit hot to sort it like.

Geoff Docherty the music promoter lived in one of them quite a while ago and Paul Kossoff, the lead guitarist of Free, stayed at his place when he was trying to dry out from drugs, which unfortunately he didn’t succeed in.
