As the skunk said earlier in the thread, they're a top 12 club, if Bruce can achieve such feats with no money, imagine what he can do with a sizeable budget?
They won 5 of their last 8 games last season, only dropping points when they lost to Man City & Arsenal and drew with Liverpool. Aye they've had a bad start this season but missing the main striker and keeper doesn't help for starters. The lack of 'new' players also doesn't help yet most Mags are going way back to say 7 wins in 37 games as a stick to beat him with.

Even with that shit winless run last season (I'm sure Wilson and ASM were missing for some of the games also) they ended up 12th which was the best of the bottom bunch. It was Leeds, Everton, West Ham, Leicester and Aston Villa along with the big 6 who finished above them. At the start of the last season, where would they have expected to finish given the resources Bruce had. At most you'd have said maybe above Villa but even they had a decent season last season.

Just watching a clip of soccer saturday on youtube

4 disgusting love ins from Lee Hendrie, Darren Bent, Jamie Mackie and Jobi Mcanuff. 5 with presenter.

Horrific watch. Giggling and no mention of murdering regime.

There’s a lot of people going to have a lot of explaining to do when this all turns to shit.

There's a lot of people going to use the same level of denial they've shown recently regarding the KSA behaviour towards their own behaviour when it goes tits up.

Just like the constant stream of "he has to go" regarding Bobby Robson morphed into "I never said that" afterwards?

Something will happen to turn the dancing in the streets wearing tea towels to "well I didn't want them in the first place".

Just like not a single mag on this thread squarely addressed the moral implications like a grown up?
We'll find out that not a single one of them wanted the takeover.

Surely you can do better than that?

You take the trouble to log on here to wind us up and come across like a teenager on Instagram. My 18 year old would blush with embarrassment using lines like that.

Seriously mate, raise your game.

Otherwise you're in danger of looking as stupid as the NUFC fans who invaded this board after your last takeover?
Boasting about your new billionaire owner who wanted to throw money at you to "have some fun and win trophies".

By the way?
How did that go?
They never came back to update us on the trophies you'd won after the massive spending spree Ashley was going to go on?

Read my previous replies, the only reason I said what you quoted will become clear. Also what you've said in quotation marks, I never said.

The local press pack haven’t finished spunking their duds to give the moral implications of this takeover a moment’s consideration, a cursory reference or two aside. They’re all mags and they love it.

The likes of caulkin downie et al aren’t journalists, not in the traditional sense of the word. They are propagandists. They Will say whatever they think the greatest number of people want to hear in order to further themselves or their employers financial gain.
I read last week that the two most mistrusted professions were journalism and politics. It’s a shame for journalism as we are fortunate to have a small number of journalists in this country who are worthy of,and put their lives on the line for the title.
The rest are like caulkin. Shitehawks.
But but only Jake Humphrey "gets" them and "has their backs". Bollocks, the vast majority run right up their arse

So called fans hassling Bruce on the way out of the training ground
“Get oot of our club”
The blokes a bloody Newcastle fan and he’s treated like that
Noocazzle the shameless club
If true he should have pulled over, got out and lamped them.
I raise my pint you Gabby!!🍺
I also read somewhere yesterday (will find it) that he said those complaining about this were jealous!

I'd say publicly and legally protesting for it to happen requires some form of justification.

Cant play dumb now when yous were going to PL HQ to beg for it to be passed
Considering I didn't personally protest at anything, I do not need to justify my Newcastle United support.
I didn't beg for anything to be passed.

Anyone that expects a person to give up being a fan and supporter of their club by using this as a battering ram should really sit back and think on the reality of the situation of being a fan and having allegiance.

I know people will argue with me that, if it was them they'd give up their support and their club for good..... but talk is extremely cheap..... and actions do speak louder than words.

I still maintain that, if this was your club, Newcastle fans would be doing exactly what some of your fans are doing. Playing the moral outrage card, so I absolutely understand the situation.

The majority of it is utter jealousy on the whole, In my honest opinion. Not just by some Sunderland fans but by some of all fans and people connected to many clubs.

I think I saw someone mention that I just keep repeating myself. I likely do but in general it's about being quoted, so I answer.
The very same stuff is said to me time and time again. It's just the nature of the beast and it must be frustrating for some of your fans to see Newcastle fans appearing to be happy and not caring, but that does not mean they are monsters who don't care about atrocities. They just care about their club and you can't blame them for that, no matter how much some of your fans would like them to give it up and send it into oblivion.

It's just not going to happen, fans wise. What the owners do is another matter.
