Just keep on posting, because you make me laugh out loud.![]()
It's called "real life" mate. Catches up with us all in the endI tend to watch more cricket than football now. Haven’t got any interest in the champions league now, only really watch the semis/final etc.
Used to watch every game I could over a weekend. But since the bairns come I don’t really bother.
Only interested in Sunderland really, would imagine I’ll always have my ST.
I doubt that very much mate. Nowt against Sunderland, but you don't switch allegiance to your biggest rivals. I can't imagine
That’s gonna be how it rolls.I don't know a single one who is stopping going, all that I know are right on board, one lad said he would rather it wasn't blood money but he didn't pick the new owners so it's not his fault.
I walked out the ground against Southampton in the Alladryce season. After going to 100s of away games, pre seasons to Hong Kong and Canada, season ticket for years - the game against Cheltenham the other week was my first time back.Do you know anyone who has just said, sod this and walked away from football.
They are sick of the way the game has gone, the money, the pretty much no chance of winning anything for your team. So much so that they just say fuck it. They don't talk about it, post about it, just live their lives as if football doesn't exist.
I haven't. I do know a couple of people who don't have any interest in football and have always been that way.
Ditto.I dont watch Internationals , prem league , MOTD and stopped managing about 7 year or so back. Only watch us and quest.
.. Brother in laws farther did .. Started going to Sunderland games as there was always trouble at Newcastle games. Long time ago mind ..I doubt that very much mate. Nowt against Sunderland, but you don't switch allegiance to your biggest rivals. I can't imagine anyone doing that.
MOTD and Sky Sports are absolutely perfect examples of mind numbing ennui.I dont watch Internationals , prem league , MOTD and stopped managing about 7 year or so back. Only watch us and quest.
This is me too.I walked out the ground against Southampton in the Alladryce season. After going to 100s of away games, pre seasons to Hong Kong and Canada, season ticket for years - the game against Cheltenham the other week was my first time back.
I can honestly say walking away from football was one of the best things I ever did.
I no longer have that gutting feeling when we lose, but also no longer have that high when we win. I keep an eye on our results but that's it really now. As I choose not to go to the games I no longer consider myself a proper fan anymore.
