I cant stand the Middle East and they cant stand us so count me out with that one
Would you turn your back on Sunderland if they had bought us?
A simple yes or no will suffice.

All encouraged by Stavely et al....wonder what her cut is out of all this?Would have died off ages ago if it wasn't for all the kicking and screaming and mps in parliament etc. Really is a joke like
Who gives a fook... We are Sunderland! Our stripes will always be better. City are plastic as fuck, a shadow of the proper maine road citeh - the mags will become just the same (if it goes through)
That doesn't bother me one bit. Our club is, seemingly, on the right path. I'm happy with thatI think the news of this takeover potentially affects us quite badly. Whilst they are bang average and not competitive, we have a good chance of competing with them for future support. Even when we’re as lowly placed as we currently are. If they become good and make genuinely eye catching signings then our club has a problem in the future.
I dont understand how there investment fund can sign players with the princes money but he isn't involved? They are, but is the issue not more that if the Saudi state is behind the group, then the geezer who seemingly signed off on beheading a journalist would have to pass a fit and proper persons test? I mean, no doubt they aren't arsed about beheadings, flinging gays off buildings and the likes as long as there's no piracy, but if they accept he's effectively the head of the group it would certainly raise questions when they wave it through
Of course it is, he'll still be standing on his chair in the press box singing Blaydon races during the next Derby game.
Not now they joined the corrupt top tableSo someone drops someone else a billion and all the issues with separate entities miraculously goes away. The money is still coming from the Saudis, and they are the government. Now we all know how corrupt the PL are. ( we knew anyway) but I wonder if the mags are going to continue to campaign against them?
People will laugh it off as paranoid but not many clubs in the country get as shit a covering as Sunderland from the local media. Its like they cant even be arsed. The local Mag press pack have got the national moralistas to keep on side and stay cosy with. There’ll be some initial tutting and shrugging for effect but they’ll be blowing the dust off their adidas brown ale entertainers tops, writing about the resurgence of the sounds and smells of excitement as they scale the grand steps to the Cathedral on the Hill once the dust has settled. They’re very transparent
There’s no shame in doing it the way we are doing it. The right way. That doesn't bother me one bit. Our club is, seemingly, on the right path. I'm happy with that

I said exactly this hours and pages ago before I got told to step in front of traffic etc.Do your fans still have a problem with the corrupt PL now it's passed after Saudis dropped a billion quid onto one of the PLs investors.
Will you still be protesting?

.not great they're prepared to pay 1bn just for the takeover to happen like![]()
Fuck off GonkSo what you are saying, is that the fans are responsible for trying to hold the corrupt Pl to account?
So thats a no then.I said exactly this hours and pages ago before I got told to step in front of traffic etc.
For me, it shows more than ever that bein were lobbying the PL - this is an admission of that. It reaffirms the corruption we all knew was happening. I have no say, but I hope they continue to push for the open process for us all.
They stopped being arsed when John Hall ( howk, spit ) declared the Geordie nation.People will laugh it off as paranoid but not many clubs in the country get as shit a covering as Sunderland from the local media. Its like they cant even be arsed.

would just taste of khashoggi anywayWell I don’t have a match day pie, but that is a really good point otherwise.
Great set of lads PIF, flew a murder team into Turkey, lured Khashoggi back to the Embassy and then cut him up with a bonesaw in order to dispose of the body. They are, but is the issue not more that if the Saudi state is behind the group, then the geezer who seemingly signed off on beheading a journalist would have to pass a fit and proper persons test?
