The tour should go ahead. Comply with the restrictions whatever they may be and put it to the players whether they want to go. If the centrally contracted lads don’t, there’ll be other players willing to take an excellent opportunity to go out there and make a name for themselves.
I'd be pretty embarrassed if an England captain commented adversly on an opposition captain. It's an Aussie trait to be outspoken,arrogant rather than backward.

People like Adam Gilchrist and Brett Lee always came across as top top blokes for example

Personally I think too much generalizations and stereotypes mentioned in a lot of things.
Like most nations and most sports they will simply be a mix of personalities across the board.
