You seem to hold someones worth based on what city they are from? That’s bizarre.
I've just cringed for you.And you claim nissan is in sunderland, its in washington![]()
tidied for you thereim a geordie, won fuck all by default
You do realise you're a laughing stock on here don't youYet you always reply![]()
not sure what that has to do with anything. they presumably put up the directors for whatever tests they needed to and passed, so they were allowed to buy them. not even sure if there's an equivalent test in france.Fair point, but aren't the states of Qatar and UAE enjoying the reflected glory from their indirect association with PSG and Man City?
Did he? Sounds to me like he shouted over them and tried to land gotcha questions. It's f***ing talksport man. If you're after reasoned debate and considered opinions, you'd avoid it like the plague. It's entire existence is based on saying something controversial to make sure people phone up.He put Steve Wraith and Amanda Staveley in their places.

The point was just that for all Man City and PSG aren't owned by the Qatari and UAE states, both of those countries have benefited from the association.not sure what that has to do with anything. they presumably put up the directors for whatever tests they needed to and passed, so they were allowed to buy them. not even sure if there's an equivalent test in france.
and man city were bought in 2008. the tests change over time, at one point they didnt even exist. the taliban could probably have bought them.
You still crying over the failed takeoverOh well if Jordan & talk sport say its dead......it must be true![]()
He’s an old man trying to wind up people. A pretty shit existence.I've just cringed for you.
He knows how to rinse Wraith & Mandy and make them look like fools. For one, I agree with him. He's not far wrong most of the time Fish FaceThat's the crux of the issue, Saudi law states that PIF and the state are separate legal entities. But everyone knows they're not. PL offered arbitration way back when, but that wasn't taken up (if they are obviously separate, why not?). If NUFC was a bigger deal for them KSA may have created a purchase vehicle that was sufficiently distinct, but we're not, so they didn't.
If PIF, or some purchase vehicle is found to be distinct from the state, the piracy issue can't be levelled at them.
End of the day, all of this shit should have been foreseen by Staveley et al. and either addressed or avoided.
Simon Jordan is a wind up merchant on talkSport ffs, if it got morons calling their premium rate line he'd insist the Earth is flat. He knows fuck all.
Looks like the Saudi's have dodged a bullet with this oneLove Simon Jordan

‘This idea that Newcastle is going to get bought by this PIF fund, this is deader than a dead thing from dead land,” Jordan said. ‘
That’ll do for me

He is wrong most of the time, to be honest. If it was more controversial to be supportive of the takeover, he'd have taken that position. His 'logic' is flawed, because he doesn't believe half the shit he says. This is backed up by how often he moves the goal posts. He knows how to rinse Wraith & Mandy and make them look like fools. No, anyone on here can dig up posts , dig up the one i made saying i would never return to the sol and why, you all seem to conveniently miss that 1 out , thanks, oh, and i do what i want tbh
They'd welcome them with open Arms (pardon the pun)not sure what that has to do with anything. they presumably put up the directors for whatever tests they needed to and passed, so they were allowed to buy them. not even sure if there's an equivalent test in france.

Hes against it because It's not more controversial to want to be taken over by a bunch of murdering terrorists? He is wrong most of the time, to be honest. He's fulfilling his remit though, barracking 'guests' with quickfire gotcha questions to make them appear foolish and flustered. Like with the Staveley piece, he has zero interest in getting actual insight, he just wants to make her look silly. Good radio for their listeners though.
Wraith deserves every ounce of embarrassment and criticism coming his way.

He's right. The consortium and St James Holdings are trying to get their money back. Allegedly a deposit was paid to NUFC/ St James Holdings, but it may have been conditional upon success. I don't beliève that this lot are interested in NUFC. They are interested in money, money, money. Why would the Saudis sustain their interest in a scenario which has caused so much hassle. Similarly I doubt if it can be demonstrated that the Saudi state was not involved. Like many I am not comfortable with this consortium anyway. If it is successful I can see nothing but problems ahead and no guarantee of riches being poured into the club. The takeover is 99% political - yet another party using the club as a platform for non-football reasons, which every owner of NUFC in my long lifetime has done before""
Absolutely gutted and still living in denial. Go and buy your cat some treats if you’re still not banned from co-op.That's the crux of the issue, Saudi law states that PIF and the state are separate legal entities.
