Well that Murray match is going to take some beating for it not to be match of the tournament. Best Murray has played in years and his level only dipped a little in the last set which was very encouraging for him going forward. He just may have 1 last Wimbledon run in him yet.
Tsitsipas (shitsipas, cheatsipas) played really well those last two sets and to hang in on that tiebreaker when Murray was dominating.
Those breaks need looking at - Zverev complained of the same thing in the last tournament against him. 7-10 minute breaks every other set is ridiculous nevermind the implication that he's cheating by being coached. ATP need to bring in a new rule/time limit on these off court breaks

He's not letting it go

Muzz and Tsitsipas got on well before yesterday as well, quite interesting.

I watched the Krygios match and he brought it up when he was arguing with the umpire, complaining to him about Tsitsipas when he was playing Agut

A new Netflix doc out next week for anyone interested in hearing Mardy Fish's story. Found a heart issue after match about a decade ago when he was floating around the top ten in the rankings. Caused him mental health issues, panic attacks and a great deal of anxiety worrying that his heart was going to stop when he stepped out on court that pretty much ended his career.

A top man, very very likeable and speaks really well on mental health. Should be a good watch.

Kyrgios somehow loves Murray even more than I do  it's quite cute! Didn't see any of that match last night but disappointing to see how easily beaten Kyrgios was again. Almost seems like he's semi retired now. 153rd in the 2021 rankings at the minute...

conditions were brutal in the night, Agut is not the bloke you want to play....good quality match for the first 2 sets then Nick wilted.
Medvedev Gasquet was the same except Gasquet blew up after the 1st

Murray has a very valid point. At least he's got a sense of humour about it, even after an epic match like that.

Played so well and can leave with his head held higher than Tsitsipas who had to resort to gamesmanship against a 34 year old with a metal hip.

I'd say it was like watching the Murray of old but 2016 Murray would have had that done in three sets. Very hard pressed to see a better contest this tournament.

I watched Seppi win a 5th set tie break 15-13 last night.
Probably the best tie break in recent years, it had everything from serving double faults
on match point to hitting outrageous winners to save match points.
There was no commentary on this match and that made watching it more enjoyable.
I could see for myself what an epic it was without someone in an ever more excitable
voice telling me. The mute button will be getting used more often now!

Emma Raducanu really does just seem to glide around the court, really impressive how effortless the movement looks. Probably jinx her here but she's playing really well so far. Returning with pace and depth on nearly every single ball it seems.

Straight sets.

Come on Emma!

Good to see the Greek cheat get beat , what a player Alcarez Garcia looks though, ridiculous for an 18 year old , looks better than all them next gen muppets that have been getting hyped up for years .

Well, I think it's fair to say well done to Dan Evans. Big win today and only the second time he's got to the last 16 of a slam.

99% guaranteed a new career high ranking as well, great fight from him. Typical he reaches a second week at a Slam after probably his worst run of form in two year!

Hopefully Raducanu matches him. Win today and she's into the top 100 for the first time.

Anyone seen Padel?
Big in Spain and Argentina. Funny game

Commentators from Sunlun too!

Women's draw shaping up well. Leylah Fernandez looks a real talent. Set and 4-2 down against one of the best defenders in the world and came through yesterday, set and *6-5 down against Osaka and came through. Osaka was just slapping the ball and barely moving after she broke like, she didn't wanna be there at all. Hopefully she comes back refreshed next year.

On the other side... Casper Ruud looks set to enter the top 10 in the rankings next Monday morning. By no means is he a bad player but has anyone got any suggestions for the last time someone reached the top ten with as limited ability as he has?

Hi - I am just here to tell you all that Alcaraz will be World number 1 before the December 2023.

As you were.
Re Radacanu - I saw her play at Silksworth in a challenger even final in front of about 11 people just beofe Covid hit end of 2019.

She will be top 10 soon too.

I'll take that bet since Medvedev will be in his prime.
Thiem will be back, Zverev. Sinner Felix

I like Zverev. Little late test and he came through it to win straight sets. I'd be happy to see him win his first slam.

Now. Haway, Emma, lass.
