Bullshit. You hate us as much as I hate you. I dip into these threads because they're always good for a giggle. Like most mags, even those I reluctantly call friends mainly through work, you try to play the holier than thou, couldn't really care less about Sunderland card but just be honest man. You wish the worst on us, you have wet yourself laughing over the last few years as we've plummeted down the league. I know I would if it was you lot. My ambition is to live to see you in the Northern League.

No, it's not as bad as some make out. Some were saying we're 100% getting relegated after the losses to West Ham and Villa. Football fans do tend to overreact. It's not unique to Newcastle.

I'm a rival, I take the piss with my mackem mates about your troubles, I can still support the view that Short was bad, that Donald and Methven were charlatans etc. There's plenty of material to mock you lot aside from how your owners have fucked your club.

Nope. I don't. I've said I enjoy your troubles, but I don't hate Sunderland or its fans. I think you've been badly run and ( as is always the case) the fans are paying for bad owners/managers. I laughed when you went down to League One, and laugh when you failed to get promoted. But I don't hate you.

I'd rather you weren't in the top flight until we got our shit together, but I miss the derby. I miss having something to look forward to and dread in equal measure.

Bruce’s plan B was to take off the wingers for strikers and lump it forward. He didn’t understand that he was taking off the players that could cross the ball in to the lads he was bringing on.

Haha that sounds frighteningly familiar like, and this is the issue, he has not changed, improved or adapted as a manager in all these years. On Saturday when Wilson came off he brought Joelinton on ahead of Gayle. Okay Gayle has his limitations but the only way we were getting to them at all was the pace on the counter, which Joelinton certainly does not possess. He is just not very good at his job, and can't even be forgiven a bit for that by being likeable. I know he is by the press, but tellingly not by fans of clubs he has managed in the main.
 
The new party at the table with Ashley are post takeover looking to take advantage of the cash strapped City Council by making a good offer for the ground along with redevelopment planning for posh apartments etc, nufc to ground share with Gateshead after the international stadium is redeveloped.

The way Bruce declined to strengthen his defence during the transfer window just goes to show his commitment to making NUFC the ‘entertainers’ - concentrate on the attack and score one more etc.
Surely the mag faithful should be praising this adherence to tradition?
