Always only 2 carriages, and always the same problems. Someone on here the other day said it was 4 carriages on a Saturday, and I nearly pulled them up for it, as I've never know that. They do run 4 carriages on a Sunday though, when hardly anyone travels by train, I'm not joking. Apparently there is excess rolling stock on a Sunday so they hoy another couple of carriages on , even though probably one would suffice. Only in Britain ! definitely only in the North East
I have seen old women not being able to get off at Seaham because they literally couldn't squeeze past people to get off , and those going to the match holding cans of Fosters laughing about it as well. Some laughing matter, someone's grandma , mother or sister having to get off at Sunderland when they live at Seaham.
