Which Hikes or climbs do you have planned?

Some weather we got over the lakes this weekend like I’m red raw here  canny hard hike upto styhead tarn with all of our camping gear yesterday but it was a lush place to camp and proper peaceful. Up shit hot and over to do Skiddaw via longside edge. Some cracking views over Keswick like would definitely recommend

Alright folks, any of you lot done snowdon via crib goch? Any advise and tips would be appreciated. I’ve already noted down “don’t fall off”

Four of us from work are planning on doing Lochnagar sometime in the next few weeks.

Hopefully make it regular thing over the next year or so.

I’m only planning on doing it via this route is if the weather is perfect mate - not a place to be taking daft risks like. Got 2 days to get the weather if not I’ll go up Via another route if it isn’t too bad
should of also said I knackered my ankle stepping onto grass after doing Cribgoch😟

Doing Snowdon this Friday, up the Pyg track and down the Miners track.
How did you get on mate? We are going down tomorrow and planned on Crib goch Thursday but the weather forcast says a big fat no  Looks like a much easier route up will be required

Aye done Crib Goch, was pretty awesome. My 2 mates aren't the fittest so it took us quite a while to get up and over it. The weather couldn't have been better for us. TBH if you just stuck to the Miners/Pyg tracks you'd get up and down pretty quick I'd say, aside from the final ascent you're just generally following a steady path all the way up.

Cheers for that mate. It’s not totally out of the picture like cos the weather forcast is never always right especially 2 days out but it doesn’t look good atm. Will be gutted like I’ve been really looking forward to it but we’ll be at the top of snowdon all the same I suppose.

Yeah I don't think we would've tackled it if the weather wasn't good, lots of vertical and sharp bits I wouldn't liked to have slipped on. We went on a Friday and there was about a 45 minute wait at the top to get on the summit for pictures and stuff.

Christ 45 minutes is abit of a pisstake, that will be getting skipped if it’s that bad. We plan to start going up at 6am so hopefully not too bad.
